I see the need and purpose for this thread but I question whether average time is the best tool for determining the optimal farming race. Various variables are not accounted for when you only look at the average times. Variables such as: loading times of your device, number of crashes (shit happens) , lower than 1st finishes, etc.

I personally just want to know how much a certain track will earn me if I play it for X amount of time; so the amount of credits per hour, or cph.

To determine the cph rating for any race, I do the following:

1. Remember starting credit balance.

2. Use a stopwatch to clock 15 minutes.

3. Replay the same race as many times as possible.

4. Finish (not quit) the race in progress when the stopwatch alarm goes off.

5. Subtract the starting credits from the current balance.

6. Multiply the result times 4 to convert to hourly rating.
