The 11th Anniversary (Cake Hunt) was a Prop Hunt event for Asphalt 8: Airborne as part of the Eleventh Anniversary Update. It was held on the following dates:

Description[]
The objective of the event is to collect rewards by choosing and flipping over a face-down featured reward cell on a board of 24 total in exchange for a varying number of Cakes. The locations of the rewards on the board are reshuffled before each draw, but rewards that have already been claimed remain face-up. The number of Cakes required to draw a reward incrementally increases with each reward redeemed.
There are a total of 24 rewards on each board. The number of Cakes required for each draw are as follows: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 27, 29, 32, 34, 37, 39, 42, 44, 47, 49, 52, 54, 57, 59. As a result, the total number of cakes required to claim all the rewards on a single board is 727.
Players receive 1 free Cake per day. Additional Cakes can be obtained by the following methods:
- buying for
200 (for 5 Cakes, with a purchase limit of 3) - buying for 20 (for 1 Cake, with a purchase limit of 1)
- buying various in-app purchase bundles
- earning by watching ads (limited to 5 per day, except between September 14 - 21, 2024 which only rewarded 3 per day)
- collecting in the dedicated Time-limited events (if the player exceeded the amount of cakes that can be obtained per day, this option is greyed out).
There are a total of 4 Time-limited events, each event was available for 7 days. In these events, Cakes would appear on the track, and were collected by driving through them, similar to R&D's Quality Checks. After the race ended, the player was offered a chance to watch an ad to increase the number of cakes collected by 1. Only one ad could be watched after each race, and after the player watched 3 ads per day, the option would no longer be offered.
After 7 days the board would reset to a new board with different rewards. The Time-limited events course would also change every 7 days. The number of cakes that the player hasn't spent on the previous reward board will be carried over to the next board, until the event ended.
If the player has leftover Cakes when the event ends, the Cakes will be nulled and cannot be used in future events.
