The 2015 Ford Mustang is a muscle car made by Ford that first appears in Asphalt 8: Airborne. It is the replacement of the fifth generation Ford Mustang.
Overview
The 2015 Ford Mustang is the replacement of the fifth generation Ford Mustang. When the Shelby GT350R was released, the 2015 Ford Mustang GT was used instead.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The 2015 Ford Mustang (previously referred to as the Ford 2015 Mustang) was added in the a June 2014 update, alongside the Chrysler ME412. Before the Decals Update both cars were Premium Cars and were purchasable in the Airborne Premium Pack, which cost $49.99 ($99.99 prior to the release of the Aero Premium Pack, which consisted of the SSC Ultimate Aero XT and Jaguar F-Type R). It was given out as a free prize in the 2015 Ford Mustang Cup event, provided the player participated in all of the races in the event and completed them all (with times below 4 minutes). Currently this car can be bought with 1,050.
Unlike the Ford Shelby GT500, which also appears in Asphalt 8, the 2015 Mustang is a stock version as opposed to a modified version, and as such, appears in Class D instead of Class B. The 2015 Mustang is currently the eighth most powerful Class D car, with a starting rank of 924, a maximum rank of 1168, and a final rank of 1319. The 2015 Mustang features a fast acceleration and strong, long-lasting nitro, although its nitro is not as efficient as the Renault DeZir. The handling is somewhat decent for a car of this performance but has to noticeably slow down to drift through sharp corners.
The 2015 Ford Mustang costs 300,960 to max out.
The 2015 Ford Mustang qualifies for the following events:
- Race 24 of Season 3 — a two-lap Classic event set in San Diego Harbor. The bonus stars are: Flat Spins: 4 and No Wrecks.
- Race 62 of Season 9 — a single-lap Classic event set in Nevada Reverse. This event requires a maxed out 2015 Ford Mustang in order to participate. The bonus stars are: Beat a Race Time of 01:41:000, and Knockdowns without Wreck: 2. This race will give you around 4,950 credits, making it a good farming race if you don't have any better Maxed out cars.
