Bugs / Glitches[]

- Resolved an issue with missing main menu buttons after claiming Festival quests under certain circumstances.
- Resolved an issue with highlighter position reset when applying upgrades with controller or keyboard.
- Resolved an issue when game stopped working after fast tapping Play and then fast canceling the race.
- Resolved multiple issues related to menu navigation when using a controller or a keyboard.
- Resolved an issue with not being able to skip car purchase animation when using controller.
- Resolved an issue with macOS and Windows controls not being switched to keyboard when controller disconnects.
- Festivals are now shown in the Calendar before they begin.
- Fixed "Unable to Download Data" issue on some Android players.
- Fixed issue that caused Events to Freeze during "Claiming Rewards" status.
- Resolved minor issues with controllers.
- Bugs that still persist:
- Game crashes are still frequent on Windows PC.
- Players losing some or all in-game data on multiple platforms.
- Missing ad rewards on Android.
- Certain motorcycles have issues with their Supercharge speeds (ongoing for years).
- As Asphalt 8 is managed by Gameloft's Kharkiv studio in Ukraine, Russia's invasion of Ukraine meant that since late February, updates and fixes have been delayed.
- Server Outages: Between late February and early March, numerous players reported being unable to connect to the game's servers.
- Bugatti Bolide Festival: The Bugatti Bolide Festival was relaunched on March 12 but closed a day later. It did not have purchasable coin packs, fluctuating premium pass prices, inaccessible time-limited events, a bugged "More Coins" button, and attempting to view the quests would crash the game. The icon in the main menu also had greyed out festival coins and the event was not listed in the calendar.
- 2022 Easter Patch (v6.2.3) bugs:
- Players have reported that the camera shakes during races. Gameloft has recognised this bug and has vowed to fix it in the next major update.
- Players have reported handling/physics issues for certain motorcycles. (MMS)
- Purchase confirmation message error: If a player is about to make a purchase and if the message says that the price exceeds the limit depending on the option they selected, the "yes" and "no" buttons are glitched. This was fixed in the Neon Season Update.
