  • The following vehicles have been removed for non-owners:
  • Prop Hunt changes:
    • For the Chasing Stars Event
      • Rewards are now randomly obtained from the rewards board by offering a certain amount of Stars. However, unlike the 11th Anniversary Cake Hunt, the rewards board is in a Tower-like shape, rather than a 4x6 rectangle board.
        • There are a total of 4 Sections in a reward board: "Base Section", "Lower Section", "Upper Section" and "Top Section". To advance to the next Section, the player needs to obtain the reward that is in the left-most corner that is bordered in yellow (except the Top Section, which is any of the available 3 cells).
      • Stars are now moving on the track to be collected, rather than a static prop, and will expire after a certain amount of time.
      • Rewards board, now called "Gacha Tower" is now reset every 7 days.
      • Top-Up board is now called "Wishing Top-Up event".
      • A new leaderboard has been introduced. This is rank-based on the total amount of times the player made a wish in the event.
      • A new tab called "Festive Shop" was added in the Shop section, located at the top.
      • The duration of each TLE is now 12 days.
      • There are 2 stages: Stage 1 (available between December 6 - 20, 2024) and Stage 2 (available between December 20, 2024 - January 3, 2025)
        • After the conclusion of Stage 1, the Top-Up board's rewards are reset and any rewards that haven't been claimed are lost.
      • On December 12, 2024, a community manager on Asphalt 8's official Discord announced that the drop rate of Stars has been doubled compare to before.
      • Between December 23 - 25. 2024
        • The number of Stars that can be received for free daily is increased to 5.
        • The number of ads that can be watched after claiming the free daily Stars is increased to 8.
        • The number of ads that can be watched after finishing a race is increased to 8.
        • The drop rate of Stars has been tripled compare to before.
    • For the Coin Rush
      • The format is the same as the 11th Anniversary Cake Hunt, replacing Cakes with Coins.
      • There is only 1 Time-limited Event, called "Lucky Fortune Chase" that is available for 14 days.
      • Rewards board is reset every 8 days.
      • On January 30, 2025, 10x Coins were given to all players.
  • Racing Pass changes:

  • The Formula E Gen2 made a return in the Formula E Cup that was available between January 6 - 20, 2025 as a reward for players who don't own the car prior to the event if they finished within top 5%. Players who already owned the car and finished within top 5% would get 3x Direct Upgrade - Class S Direct Upgrade - Class S instead.
  • Treasure Rush changes: From the 2nd rerun of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Treasure Rush onwards.
    • An additional free dice is obtainable.
    • The number of Legendary Tires Legendary Tires has been reduced from 5 to 1.

Bugs/Glitches[]

  • The following bugs/ glitches have been fixed:
  • The following bugs/ glitches still persist from previous updates.
    • The red color option of the McLaren 600LT is not displayed properly.
    • Graphics issue: Some players reported unable to set the graphics to high, even though the device is capable of doing so. On Android, attempting to set the visual quality to the highest will result in resetting to default after getting out of the "settings" page
  • Christmas Gifts: Several players have received both the Lotus Exige S Coupe and "Black Stripes" Decals from the Christmas Gifts, even though the latter is supposed to be compensation for those who already own the car.
  • The signs and billboards on some track are distorted or not displayed properly.
  • Upgrades for the DMC DeLorean Neon Edition, the Rinspeed zaZen and the 9FF GT9 VMAX cannot be applied.
    • This was fixed on December 20, 2024.
  • From December 12, 2024 onwards, players on Windows platform are now able to watch ads again in order to obtain rewards such as Credits Cresdits, Fusion Coins Fusion Coins, parts, Tokens Tokens, Wild Cards from the milestone ads and vehicles from the Ads Relay Ads, storage slots, in addition to the Credits Credits from the daily multiplier ads after completing a race.
    • Previously, at an unknown point in 2022 or possibly even earlier in 2021, only Credits Credits from the daily multiplier ads after completing a race were obtainable.
  • Some players on Windows platform reported FPS dropped significantly and constant lagged during a race, despite their devices are capable of running the game smoothly or at least meet the minimum requirements to run the game.
  • The Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster's rank, which is S1865, wasn't placed in a fixed Multiplayer Bracket that was introduced in the 2022 Lunar New Year Update and can't be tuned due to being an ULTIMATE vehicle. Instead, this car was treated as if it doesn't have a Multiplayer Bracket, causing an unfair advantage, especially when racing in a lower bracket.
  • Chasing Stars Event's reward bug: After the conclusion of the event, the following rewards were given out instead of the actual rewards the player would receive based on the actual position in the leaderboard. These rewards were given whenever the player opened the game. However, this only seems to be applied to certain players who participated in the event (i.e. make a wish to get a reward in a rewards board) and in some cases, finishing below Top 1% in the leaderboard.
  • In the Lamborghini Reventón Roadster Car Hunt (3), there was only 1 Car Hunt Coins Cup as oppose to 2.
  • For Android users, trying to access TLEs, Multiplayer, or Gauntlet results in Downloading Data, with the progress bar showing 0.0/0.0 MB.
  • Server issues: Between February 3 - 4, 2025, there has been a report about server issues, this is included but not limited to:
    • Synchronization issue when attempting to start a race in either World Series, Gauntlet or Events.
    • Attempting to watch an ad would result in the reward or the milestone wasn't displayed properly.
    • Attempting to use a booster would result in either a delay or that booster wasn't activated at all.
    • Inventory synchronization issue when attempting to use a card (or cards) for upgrading cars or sell them for Fusion Coins Fusion Coins.
      • A workaround was to restart the game. However, this only worked on the first time the player do either 1 of the above after restarting the game, as after doing so, attempting to redo would result in a synchronization issue.
      • These issues were partially fixed on February 4, 2025.
