The Apex AP-0 is an all-electric concept supercar announced in 2020 by the British/Hong Kong sportscar company Apex Motors, and is scheduled for production in 2022 in Woking.

Description[]

The AP-0 is a celebration of the feeling of being behind the wheel. The car offers a more connected driving experience, embodying sustainability, pioneering technology, cutting edge design and, above all, a strong emotional connection. The design of the AP-0 features, at its core, an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre tub with modular spaceframes and a centre spine for maximum rigidity. Meanwhile, the carbon fibre body panels wrap tightly around the tub while exposing parts of the central construction.

The AP-0 is a triumph of how form and function can be combined in one harmonious package. Supported by the Elemental design team, this begins with the front aerodynamic bodywork, which channels air underneath the car and behind the front wheels, along the body and out below the large rear diffuser. The flat floor exploits ground effect principles, helping to pin the car to the ground for tremendous cornering ability. This is aided by the low centre of gravity provided by the 90kW floor-mounted battery pack. Together, these features enable the AP-0 to achieve a kerb weight of just 1,200kg.

Performance[]

Like the Vanda Electrics Dendrobium and Lamborghini Sián, the Apex can reach a higher speed when using Perfect Nitro.

At stock, the Apex has similar stats to the Ford GT Mk II, with higher top speed but worse other stats. It is not particularly useful as its speed is too low for it to be competitive in events or multiplayer.

At MAX, the Apex has similar performance to the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, having excellent handling and a higher top speed than the Corvette. Although its nitro efficiency is slightly worse than the Corvette's, it is still extremely good. It's acceleration is also better than the Corvette's. The Apex AP-0 is one of the most popular choices for multiplayer, due to being very easy to drive with its high top speed with perfect nitro, good acceleration, excellent handling and nitro efficiency.

Availability[]

Blueprints for the Apex AP-0 can be obtained from its Car Hunt when it available.
