− | The Apollo Intensa Emozione uses the Ferrari F12berlinetta's 6.3 L (6,300 cc) F140 FC naturally-aspirated V12 engine. The engine has been slightly modified with a new ECU software, a new custom intake and a new exhaust system developed by Autotecnica Motori. The engine now produces 780 hp (582 kW; 791 PS) at 8,500 rpm and around 560 lb⋅ft (759 N⋅m) of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine reportedly has a redline of 9,000 rpm. All of the power is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed Hewland sequential manual transmission. The weight stands at 1,250 kg (2,755 lb). |

+ | <!--PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CHANGING THE SPEED OF 316.8 MPH/510.1 KM/H TO 317.2 MPH/510.8 KM/H. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.--> |
||
− | The Apollo Intensa Emozione reaches 510.8 km/h - 317.4 mph at MAX+PRO; this is 0.3 km/h - 0.2 mph faster than the 2018 McLaren X2 at PRO. The Apollo IE is currently the overall best vehicle in the entire game from ranks ~S1600-S1800 (with the correct upgrades). The Apollo IE's performance is heavily based on the Aston Martin Vulcan's (the previous best vehicle) and can be described as "balanced", with almost the highest levels of performance in every aspect. Notably, the Apollo IE's MAX+PRO raw top speed is significantly higher than the Vulcan's. |
||
+ | <tabber>v4.1-Present= |
||
+ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione currently ranks vaguely within the top ten vehicles in the game. In addition to its very high maximum speed, the Apollo IE has moderately fast acceleration, good handling, a very sharp drifting radius and very good nitro efficiency. However, there are a handful of vehicles that are slightly superior to the Apollo IE, mainly in terms of maximum speed and acceleration; these include the Lamborghini Centenario, Koenigsegg Jesko, Senna, Ferrari FXX K, 600LT, 2018 McLaren X2 and MP4-31. Among those vehicles listed, the Apollo IE most closely competes with the MP4-31; the other six vehicles all perform very similarly to one another, with the Centenario coming out slightly on top, and the Apollo IE can compete with all of them. Further testing is needed to determine the Apollo IE's effectiveness against the Koenigsegg Regera as of April 2020. |
||
+ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione's maximum speed of 313.2 mph (504.4 km/h) isn't optimal considering its competition — its competitors (listed in the previous paragraph) have maximum speeds of 314.1–316.0 mph (505.7–508.9 km/h). In terms of its maximum rank, the Apollo IE is ranked as one of the lowest-ranked competitive vehicles within high-end Class S, with S1847 as opposed to S1853–S1862 (disregarding uncompetitive high-end Class S vehicles such as the Arash AF10, Zenvo TS1 GT 10th Anniversary Edition and Devel Sixteen Prototype); in the present day, any given vehicle's rank almost directly corresponds with its maximum speed, hence rank is generally a good indicator of relative performance. |
||
− | The Apollo Intensa Emozione's high total top speed, quick acceleration, and stable handling are slightly superior to the Vulcan's, while its drifting radius is fairly similar; only the nitro efficiency of the Apollo Intensa Emozione is inferior to the Vulcan's 6/10/14. |
||
+ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione is certainly superior to the Arash, Zenvo TS1-10, and Devel, all of which are ranked slightly higher than the Apollo IE. The Apollo IE is also certainly superior to the Renault Sport R.S. 01, HTT Pléthore LC 750 and everything else ranked lower than the Pléthore; these two vehicles, in particular, are virtually useless due to their horrible acceleration and lack of any outstanding attributes. The Rimac C_Two, which is a relatively new vehicle in the game, seems to be inferior to the Apollo IE in all aspects, though it is still a decent competitor. The Zeus Twelve Sigma, with a maximum rank of S1846 as opposed to the Apollo IE's S1847, seems to be relatively competent against the Apollo IE, save for the one critical fact that its physical body (i.e. hitbox) is far too wide for it to be considered a reliable competitor to the Apollo IE (this affects its ability to turn around corners, fit through tight spaces, perform various ramp-related stunts, etc.). |
||
− | The Apollo Intensa Emozione is the 6th-fastest vehicle in the game and the third-fastest vehicle in Class S, behind the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG Special Edition (A), Kawasaki Ninja H2R (S) (when supercharged), Devel Sixteen Prototype (S), Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport (A), and BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage (A). Despite this, the Apollo IE still ranks as one of the best overall vehicles in the game because of its significantly superior acceleration, drifting and handling compared to most of these vehicles. The exception to this trend is the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, which is a motorcycle that suffers from its own unique downsides of unpredictable vehicle physics and reliance on supercharged nitro for speed. |
||
+ | As it stands, the Apollo IE seems to be roughly the 8th or 9th-best vehicle in the game, certainly behind the Centenario, Jesko, Senna, FXX K, 600LT and X2, with the MP4-31 being slightly better depending on the track and also on whether boosters are active, and with the Regera's competence against the Apollo IE being as-of-yet undetermined. |

||
+ | Historically, the Apollo IE was briefly the best vehicle in the game, a.k.a. the "king", for around two months — between its own addition to the game in the Spring Update of April 2018 and the subsequent addition of the 2018 McLaren X2 to the game in the Asphalt Moments Update of June 2018. Back then, the Apollo IE had a maximum speed of 316.7 mph (510.1 km/h) along with a maximum rank of S1815; its rank of S1815 was the highest of any vehicle in the game at the time (disregarding now-defunct Elite Cars). Despite its own brief reign, the Apollo IE is best known as the vehicle that dethroned the Aston Martin Vulcan, which reigned from its addition to the game in the Championship Update of December 2016 up until the Apollo IE's addition to the game in April 2018; throughout this period, the McLaren MP4-31 and Arrinera Hussarya GT were also added to the game, posing serious competition to the Vulcan, although it still remained the definitive king of the game. |
||
− | The Apollo Intensa Emozione's only major drawbacks are its steep upgrade costs and restrictive availability. It also has a tendency to skid due to its superb handling; this can be remedied by sensitivity. |
||
+ | |-|v3.6-v4.1= |
||
⚫ | |||
+ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione has a performance map based on those of the Ferrari 330 P4 and Aston Martin Vulcan, but with a stronger emphasis on raw top speed like the former and overall handling like the latter. Reaching a maximum real total speed of 316.8 MPH/510.1 km/h<!--DO NOT CHANGE TO 510.8--> at MAX+PRO with Tuning Kit activated, the Apollo IE is the sixth-fastest car in the game, tied with the 2018 McLaren X2. Compared to the AM Vulcan, the Apollo IE has faster overall acceleration, reaching its aforementioned total speed in 2.8 seconds (with Level 3 Nitro activated). In addition, the Apollo IE, having a lower overall weight rating, has better overall handling and drifting, although its drift radius is so sharp to the point of oversteer and skidding being possible, which are the two of the Apollo IE's only disadvantages so far. The Apollo IE, with its nitro efficiency combo of 6/11/13, makes it more efficient at Level 3 (triple-tap) nitro but slightly less efficient at Level 2/Perfect Nitro. These effects are most noticeable with Extra Tank, although the Apollo IE has a higher raw top speed and faster acceleration to compensate for this. With its statistics considered, the Apollo IE is the second best car in the game, ahead of the AM Vulcan and behind the McLaren X2. With the Halloween Update, the IE is now safer and more stable to drive than before. |
||
⚫ | |||
⚫ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione's closest competitors are the 2018 McLaren X2 (acceleration-biased), AM Vulcan (balanced), Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 (mostly balanced), Arrinera Hussarya GT (balanced), MP4-31 (acceleration-biased), and Mercedes MP4-25 (acceleration-biased). The McLaren vehicles accelerate quicker than the Apollo IE but suffer from a range of downsides, including worse nitro efficiency, lower top speed, and a very high tendency to skid due to their extreme handling, although the tendency to skid has been mostly eliminated with the Halloween Update. Aside from these vehicles, the Apollo IE also faces minor competition from the Lamborghini Aventador SV (semi-balanced), Ferrari 488 Pista (semi-speed-biased), and TRION NEMESIS (acceleration-biased). At lower ranks, the Apollo IE faces additional competition from the Chevrolet 2016 Camaro SS (speed-biased), SIN R1 (balanced), Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition (balanced), Porsche Carrera GT (speed-biased), Rezvani Beast Alpha (acceleration-biased), and BMW M2 Special Edition (semi-balanced). |
||
⚫ | |||
⚫ | The Apollo IE starts at a rank 180 points higher than the Vulcan, but is slightly faster at MAX+PRO due to a higher top speed. Besides, it features a highly efficient ratio of top speed gain over rank cost, as the stock top speed can be increased by up to 106 km/h for only 154 points added to rank. (As of the 2018 Spring Update, this efficiency is second only to the Kawasaki Ninja H2R's stellar +102 km/h over +123 rank). |
||
⚫ | |||
⚫ | This makes the Apollo IE virtually dominant above rank 1600, where it can defeat similarly ranked Vulcans, Hussarya GT's, SIN R1's, MP4-25's, M-B SLK SE's, Hommages, Corvette GS's, Camaro SS's, Aventador SV's, R8 SE's, and Porsche 918 Spyders, assuming equal driver skill. Between ranks 1550-1600, where it is still competitive but not optimal, it competes against Hommages, R8 SE's, SLK SE's, Vulcans, Camaro SS's, and SIN R1's. Below 1550, it loses its usefulness and falls prey to SLK SEs and R8 e-tron SEs; the Apollo cannot be obtained at this rank without spending tokens. |

+ | The Apollo Intensa Emozione's primary drawbacks are its restrictive availability and steep upgrade costs. It can only be obtained through its R&D event or via a time-limited in-app purchase (which costs US$100 or 20,000), and it requires 8 A8tokens-only upgrades in order to MAX out. The Apollo IE also has some steep Pro Kits cards requirements, needing 56 Mid-Tech and 48 V12 Engine cards to fully PRO. With its availability and purchase/upgrade costs considered, the Aston Martin Vulcan, while having a purchase price of 14,250 and being slightly inferior performance, also has the advantage of being available for purchase in the Garage at any time, lacking A8Tokens-only upgrades, and requiring fewer cards in its PRO upgrades. |

The Apollo Intensa Emozione (abbreviated as Apollo IE or AIE) is a hypercar produced by German automaker Apollo Automobil GmbH. It is the successor to the Gumpert Apollo.
Description
On October 17, 2017, Apollo Automobil GmbH released a teaser video for the Apollo IE, with the car being fully revealed on the following week. It is built in collaboration with Manifattura Automobil Torino (MAT) and Autotecnica Motori, with HWA AG completing the final developmental stages.
The Apollo IE features an exterior design based on airflow and insects and marine animals. The interior design takes inspiration entirely from nature, with a cocoon-shaped carbon fiber tub cockpit, in the style of a leather-wrapped prototype race car. In addition to the nature-inspired design, the IE was intended to stand out from all other high-performance vehicles.
The car is made almost entirely out of carbon fiber, but it does include high-strength steel, aluminum, and titanium components. The engine bay is left uncovered to allow the air intake to take in maximum efficiency and performance. The monocoque itself weighs only 231 lb (105 kg), while the car weighs 2755 lb (1250 kg).
The dampers are built by Bilstein, and are three-way adjustable (comfort, sport, auto). The car uses Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with sizes 380×34 mm at the front and rear along with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. Michelin supplies their Sport Cup 2 high performance tires for the cars, to allow for maximum performance and grip. Pankl Racing Systems supplies the differential.
The Apollo IE uses a 6.3 L (6,300 cc; 384.4 cu in) naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by Autotecnica Motori and HWA AG, taking the F140 FC engine from the Ferrari F12berlinetta as the base. The V12 generates 780 hp (582 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 560 ft·lb (760 N·m) of torque at 6,000 rpm, and reportedly redlines at 9,000 rpm. A six-speed Hewland sequential manual transmission drives the rear wheels. The car has a power-to-weight ratio of 624 hp (465 kW) per tonne or 3.53 lb (1.6 kg) per horsepower.
The Apollo IE is capable of 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.7 seconds along with a projected top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). It generates a maximum of 2976 lb (1350 kg) of downforce at 186 mph (300 km/h).
Only 10 units will be produced, sold for US$2,670,000 and €2,300,000, all of which have already been sold.

The Apollo Intensa Emozione is certainly superior to the Arash, Zenvo TS1-10, and Devel, all of which are ranked slightly higher than the Apollo IE.
As it stands, the Apollo IE seems to be roughly the 8th or 9th-best vehicle in the game, certainly behind the Centenario, Jesko, Senna, FXX K, 600LT and X2, with the MP4-31 being slightly better depending on the track and also on whether boosters are active, and with the Regera's competence against the Apollo IE being as-of-yet undetermined.
Historically, the Apollo IE was briefly the best vehicle in the game, a.k.a. the "king", for around two months — between its own addition to the game in the Spring Update of April 2018 and the subsequent addition of the 2018 McLaren X2 to the game in the Asphalt Moments Update of June 2018.
The Apollo Intensa Emozione has a performance map based on those of the Ferrari 330 P4 and Aston Martin Vulcan, but with a stronger emphasis on raw top speed like the former and overall handling like the latter. Reaching a maximum real total speed of 316.8 MPH/510.1 km/h at MAX+PRO with Tuning Kit activated, the Apollo IE is the sixth-fastest car in the game, tied with the 2018 McLaren X2.
The Apollo Intensa Emozione's closest competitors are the 2018 McLaren X2 (acceleration-biased), AM Vulcan (balanced), Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 (mostly balanced), Arrinera Hussarya GT (balanced), McLaren MP4-31 (acceleration-biased), and McLaren Mercedes MP4-25 (acceleration-biased).
The Apollo IE starts at a rank 180 points higher than the Vulcan, but is slightly faster at MAX+PRO due to a higher top speed.
This makes the Apollo IE virtually dominant above rank 1600, where it can defeat similarly ranked Vulcans, Hussarya GT's, SIN R1's, MP4-25's, M-B SLK SE's, Hommages, Corvette GS's, Camaro SS's, Aventador SV's, R8 SE's, and Porsche 918 Spyders, assuming equal driver skill.
Some useful non-MAX+PRO Multiplayer tunings include:
- 0503 5050 (Rank 1590): Real speed= 493.4 km/h, Displayed speed= 490.3 km/h (This is the absolute lowest tuning at which the Final AI may be beaten.)
- 0504 5050 (Rank 1610): Real speed= 497.3 km/h, Displayed speed= 494.2 km/h
- 0505 5050 (Rank 1634): Real speed= 500.8 km/h, Displayed speed= 497.7 km/h
- 3505 5053 (Rank 1677): Real speed= 503.1 km/h, Displayed speed= 499.9 km/h
- 4504 5055 (Rank 1684): Real speed= 501.9 km/h, Displayed speed= 498.8 km/h
- 3505 5055 (Rank 1695): Real speed= 505.5 km/h, Displayed speed= 502.3 km/h
- 5505 5555 (Rank 1761): Real speed= 510.1 km/h, Displayed speed= 506.9 km/h
Other popular Multiplayer tunings are usually variants of these, with the difference being slightly different levels of acceleration, suspension, and/or exhaust (i.e. 4504 5154 Rank 1679).
The Apollo Intensa Emozione's primary drawbacks are its restrictive availability and steep upgrade costs. It can only be obtained through its R&D event or via a time-limited in-app purchase (which costs US$100 or 20,000), and it requires 8 -only upgrades in order to MAX out. The Apollo IE also has some steep Pro Kits cards requirements, needing 56 Mid-Tech and 48 V12 Engine cards to fully PRO. With its availability and purchase/upgrade costs considered, the Aston Martin Vulcan, while having a purchase price of 14,250 and being slightly inferior performance, also has the advantage of being available for purchase in the Garage at any time, lacking -only upgrades, and requiring fewer cards in its PRO upgrades.Official review
This is the official review of the Apollo Intensa Emozione on the Asphalt YouTube channel, made by ASL Tae Hwan Kim and published on May 9, 2018:
Time to reach end of Tokyo straight: 6.798s
Perfect nitro duration: 9.636s
Triple nitro duration: 7.788s
French Guiana lap time: 53.559s
Final verdict: "This car is such an amazing machine. Its stats are awesome and flawless, so it can act well with both MAXPRO tune and MP tune. Without a doubt, the Apollo Intensa Emozione is the new king of Asphalt 8."
Price
Beyond its R&D event, the Apollo Intensa Emozione was available between July 4-8, 2018 as an in-app purchase for $100 USD, between November 30 - December 3, 2018, for 20,000, and between November 8-12, 2019 for 17,000 - 15% off the full price.
The Apollo Intensa Emozione is one of several vehicles in the game that require -only upgrades. As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 2,765,000 + 10,000 while Pro Kits require 1,375,200, 50 of each Class S Part, 96 Mid-Techs, 64 Advanced Techs, and 92 V12 Engines.
