Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
- The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100RR my2017 is the first vehicle which was postponed for more than one update.
- It was delayed because of a licensing problem between Gameloft and Aprilia, which made this bike impossible to be added in the game until the Fifth Anniversary Update.
- Even when the Tuono was not in the game, many players received Blueprints for it in Pro Boxes and Exclusive Deals.
- Players who received these Blueprints received a compensation of 50 tokens with the promise that they will fuse the Blueprint(s) from their inventories. Eventually, the Tuono's Blueprints were removed from the game, as the bike was changed to be unlockable only through its R&D event.
- Its R&D event was supposed to start on November 20, 2017, as players received notifications for it. However, it was replaced with the Arash AF10's R&D, which was held for the third time.
- Its R&D event also marks the first time an R&D event is postponed, in contrast with the cancellation of the 1967 Chevrolet Impala's EDD.
- The event would eventually be launched on September 29, 2018, as part of the Fifth Anniversary Update.
- Its R&D event also marks the first time an R&D event is postponed, in contrast with the cancellation of the 1967 Chevrolet Impala's EDD.
- The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR my2017 is currently the only regional vehicle in the game, as its R&D was released only in countries where Aprilia is licensed.
- As of the Fifteenth Anniversary Update, with the rebalance of the BMW S 1000 RR to Class B, the Tuono becomes the only motorcycle in Class A that are no longer obtainable for non-owners.
