Cars
Asphalt 8: Airborne has 128 cars, divided into 5 classes. For the full list of cars, see: Vehicles of Asphalt 8. Many cars belong to a Collection, that give Credits or Items as bonus when the player owns all cars of a collection.
The "real" speed of Class S cars differs from what is indicated in the HUD. However since it is difficult to present "hard" facts, the information has been move to the forum: Realism in speed and times.
Tuning
An overview for all cars of the Nitro efficiency.
Career Mode
Career mode is divided into 9 seasons, plus one Tag Racing season:
Multiplayer
There are three ways to play a multiplayer match on asphalt 8:
- The Local Wi-Fi Race
- The global World Series 'tournament'
- Time-limited online Events
Car Mastery
Introduced in the Hot Summer Update, Car Mastery (or just Mastery) is another single player game mode. It offers 15 single-lap races for each car of the game, with the possibility to earn Credits, Car Upgrades, Boosters, and Licences. See the dedicated Car Mastery page for more details.
Research & Development
The single player Research & Development mode was introduced in the Summer's Over Update, featuring the Lamborghini Huracán as the first test vehicle. For each stage, a series of 'Tests' have to be performed, with specific 'Quality Check' objectives. The car's upgrades become available with the advancement of the tests. If all the tests are finished within a certain time span, you receive the car itself as a reward. For further information, check the Research & Development page.
