Performance
The DB9 Coupé is inferior to the DS Survolt in all aspects with weaker acceleration, weaker handling & drift radius and shorter nitro durations.
The DB9 Coupé can be described as one of the worst cars in the game for its rank, being even worse than the Dodge Dart GT, SRT 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8, Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X, and both RUF cars, relatively speaking. However, the DB9 Coupé's relatives, the V12 Zagato, V12 Vantage, One-77, and Vulcan, are each straight upgrades to each other in every statistic, including drifting radius and nitro efficiency, going from the lowest-ranked car to the highest-ranked car. This means that all of the other Aston Martin cars possess fewer and fewer of the downsides of the DB9 Coupé, to the point where they possess none at all.
Usage
The DB9 Coupé competes as a starter's car for Class B, though it is highly recommended to buy the DS Survolt instead. The DB9 Coupé is a poor choice for Multiplayer or Time-Limited Events and stands as the worst vehicle in Class B.
The DB9 Coupé counts towards the Aston Martin, Britain's Finest, GT Club and British Gentlemen collections. A total of 7 Nitro Starters, 30 Tuning Kits. 42 Extra Tanks and 625,000 are awarded when all 8 versions are completed.
Price
As of the Fifteenth Anniversary Update, the DB9 Coupé costs 320,000 to purchase (originally 14,500, then 21,750 and then 53,000). As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 315,000 while Pro Kits require 50,400, 8 of each Class B Part and 6 Initial & Early Techs each.
