The Automobili Pininfarina Battista Edizione Nino Farina, also known as "Battista Edizione Nino Farina", as announced in the official website[1], is a variant of the Automobili Pininfarina Battista that was created as a tribute to the first ever Formula 1 Champion, Giuseppe "Nino" Farina.
Description[]
The Edizione Nino Farina was introduced during the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed as the second car within the Battista's "design edition" series after the Battista Anniversario. Translated from Italian as "Nino Farina Edition", it was created as a tribute to the first ever Champion for the inaugural 1950 season of Formula 1, Emilio Giuseppe "Nino" Farina, who is also the nephew of Battista "Pinin" Farina, the founder of Pininfarina.
For the exterior design, the car was painted in Rosso Nino with Bianco Sestriere and Iconica Blu finishes, "01" body side graphics and Glorioso Gold wheels. For the interior, the driver's seat is finished with Black Sustainable Leather, while the passenger's seat is finished in Beige Leather, in addition to the Black Alcantara trimming and "Nino Farina" inscriptions.
Only 5 units are scheduled to produce, with each car celebrating one of five milestones in Nino Farina’s racing career, therefore ensuring no two cars are the same.[2]
