The BMW M3 Sedan (F80) is a sport version of the BMW 3 Series (F30). It is the successor to the BMW M3 (E90/92/93) in sedan form, while the M3 (E92)'s successor is the BMW M4 Coupe (F82).
Description[]
The BMW M3 (F80) entered production for the 2014 model year (2015 for the US) as only a sports sedan following BMW's plans to split off the BMW 4 Series coupe/convertible from the BMW 3 Series. Similar to the E92 M3, the F80 M3 features a carbon fiber roof and driveshaft. The BMW M3 (F80)'s platform structure is made from steel, with the bonnet and doors from aluminum.
The F80 M3, along with the M4, uses a newly developed 3.0L (2,979 cc) twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine, the S55B30T0, which is developed from the BMW N55 engine. Differences compared with the N55 include a closed-deck engine block, lightweight crankshaft, strengthened pistons, different valve material, twin fuel pumps, active exhaust, and revised intercoolers. The S55B30T0 produces 425 hp (317 kW) between 5,500 and 7,300 rpm and 406 ft·lb (550 N·m) of torque between 1,850 and 5,500 rpm. The redline is at 7,500 rpm.
The F80 M3's performance is improved from the last generation M3, with 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 4 seconds (4.2 seconds with the 6-speed manual). Top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h) but can be raised to 174 mph (280 km/h) with the optional M Driver's Package.
In May 2018, the F80 M3 Sedan was discontinued due to new emission regulations. A successor of the F80 M3 is scheduled be launched in 2020.

Performance & usage[]
- This section of an article is missing some information. Please try to add some relevant content.
The BMW M3 Sedan, despite having a medium nitro stat that allows for average acceleration, has a forced nitro efficiency of 10/15/20; this is a trait shared with the Mazda 6, a car added later than the M3. The M3 is otherwise well-balanced with regards to handling and top speed.
The BMW M3 Sedan is not recommended for either Events or Multiplayer, as its poor nitro efficiency means that before it can fully recover its nitro, superior cars like the BMW M2, Range Rover Evoque Coupe HSE Dynamic, and even the Mazda 6 will already have overtaken the M3.
Price[]
As of the 2021 Lunar New Year Update, the M3 costs 400 to purchase.
As of the Gangstar Season Update, upgrades require 55 of each Common Tires, Common Suspension, Common Drivetrain, and Common Exhaust, 160 BMW M3 Sedan Kit, and 4,000,000.
The M3 counts towards to the Hot Summer and BMW collections.
