I just won a race and only received ± 60 points.
Is that normal, I have the impression that it was more a few hours ago?

Well, the more you do Events races, you'll get less and less with every time you do a race. Race enough, and you'll start just getting sometimes even 5 points (this is after quite a few races though).
thanks for your reply
What a good but strange way of demotivating players
It's not so much of a demotivater as it's a means to make things just harder.
You'll find that for a higher reward (such as a vehicle, or large amount of Tokensout it, you're getting 5 points per race, and there are people who have 10k. It's meant to make you have to be more committed, or require you to forgo sleeping/ call in sick, OR if it's something like, say, an expensive car that costs a lot of Tokens, some people might drop a bunch on Tokens on fuel refills, so many races can be done, and higher point totals can be reached quicker, so that they can sleep, or, you know, live their lives without having to constantly be checking Asphalt 8: Airborne every like hour and forty minutes.
Now I understand the underlying reasons (motivation of Gameloft). I keep finding the concept demotivating.
