The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engined hypercar developed by Bugatti as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron.
Overview
Introduced at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Bugatti Chiron is named after the Monegasque driver Louis Chiron. Production was limited to 500 units, with the first 200 units being sold before the first delivery of the car.
The Chiron uses the same 8.0 L (7,993 cc; 487.8 cu in) quad-turbocharged W16 from the Bugatti Veyron, but heavily updated. Power is rated at 1479 hp (1103 kW) and torque 1180 ft·lb (1600 N·m) starting from 2,000 rpm. Similar to the Veyron, the Chiron has a carbon fiber body structure, independent suspension, and a Haldex AWD system. The carbon fiber body has a stiffness of 50,000 N·m per degree.
The Chiron is mid-engined and has its power sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic tranmission. The weight is estimated at 4398 lb (1995 kg), resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 741 hp (553 kW) per tonne or 2.97 lb (1.35 kg) per horsepower. By comparison, the original Veyron makes only 496 hp (370 kW) per tonne.[note 1] The Chiron has a length of 175.7 in (446.3 cm), width of 80.2 in (203.7 cm), and a height of 47.7 in (121.2 cm).
The Chiron can accelerate from 0 - 60 mph (0 - 97 km/h) in 2.4 seconds, 0 - 124 mph (0 - 200 km/h) in 6.5 seconds, and 0 - 186 mph (0 - 300 km/h) in 13.6 seconds. Electronically limited to 261 mph (420 km/h), the Chiron has an anticipated full top speed of 288 mph (464 km/h) that cannot be tested due to the lack of existing tires that can survive 280 mph (450 km/h). The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport makes 296 hp (221 kW) less than the Chiron.
The Chiron used to hold the world record for fastest 0-249-0 mph (0-400-0 km/h) time of 41.96 seconds, being beaten by the Koenigsegg Agera RS, the latter doing so in 36.44 seconds and later 33.29.
Asphalt Street Storm Racing
Availability
The Bugatti Chiron appears in Asphalt Street Storm Racing as a Class S car. It was first launched as a 4 day Champions Clash between June 30 - July 3, 2017 as a car prize for the top 10 players.
The Bugatti Chiron's Blueprints are only obtainable from Gold Gift Boxes.
Performance
The Bugatti Chiron has the following statistics:
- Starting Rank: 559
- BHP: 1,458
- Grip: 11.00
- Acceleration: 2.6
- Weight: 1,995.00
- Final Rank: 588
Similar to the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Chiron is built with extreme power outputs at the expense of weight. The Chiron is the second heaviest car in the game at 1,995 kg, only lighter than the Charger's 2,075 kg. In addition to its 0-100 km/h being the slowest for Class S, it also has the least amount of grip, contrary to what its weight and all-wheel drive layout would suggest.
Usage
Pre v1.3
The Bugatti Chiron is capable of reaching over 186 mph (300 km/h) in 800m races and clocking in at 10.9, just under the McLaren F1's and Porsche 918 Spyder's 10.8-10.7.
This, however, comes at a cost of initial acceleration and speed as the gear ratios for 1st-6th gear are rather short. While 7th gear is significantly longer and allows the Chiron to reach its high top speed, its longer gear ratio limits acceleration and makes it vulnerable to its more balanced rivals. Due to the uneven gears and slow acceleration, the Chiron will struggle in 400m races, even if Torque Boost is active, more so if the weather condition is wet or snowy.
Overall, the Chiron is largely a collectors car as its questionable performance means that players driving it are more likely to lose races, given the random nature of the game in choosing the race conditions.
Post v1.3
The gear ratios for the Bugatti Chiron are now more evenly spaced but still retains its top speed and is now capable of a 10.7 in 800m races.

- 1* rank: 3,728
- 2* rank: ? (13 BPs)
- 3* rank: ? (16 BPs)

As the Chiron is the highest-ranked car in the game to date, despite being slower than the Koenigsegg Regera and Trion Nemesis, the Chiron can be useful in both events and Multiplayer if one can make use of the car's high top speed and excellent drifting properly.
Availability
From December 20, 2018 to January 12, 2019, there is a Bugatti Chiron Special Event wehre you can obtain 90 Chiron blueprints in total. You can also receive tokens and credits in the event. Afterwards, there will be a Bugatti Chiron leaderboard event.
The Special Event itself was controversial, as the event required two of the previous Unleashed cars (Ferrari J50, and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport), as well as two then-unreleased cars, Maserati Alfieri and McLaren 570S Spider. Cars below the recommended rank could not be used as well.
