The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is a one-off special of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar. As French for "The Black Car", it is a tribute to the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic that went missing between 1939 and 1941.

The La Voiture Noire is a one-off special introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Based on the Chiron, the design of the car harkens back to the Type 57 SC Atlantic and is a celebration of the company's distinctive design history. The car has a hand-built body made from carbon fibre designed by Bugatti designer Etienne Salomé which has an elongated nose (similar to that on the Divo) and an elongated rear section. Other notable features include unique wing mirrors, LED taillight strip, and wheels. Unlike the original, the car retains the mid-engine layout.
A trim piece running from the front of the car to the rear spoiler recalls the dorsal fin present on the Type 57 SC. The car features a floating windscreen and has masked A-pillars.
The La Voiture Noire will be powered by the same 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine from the Chiron having the same power output figures but the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the all-wheel-drive system are heavily revised in order to allow for a more relaxed driving experience. Softer dampers and a revised chassis contribute to the factor. The car features six exhaust pipes recalling the innovative design of the past.
Performance figures remain unknown but the company states that the car is likely to have a lower top speed and acceleration times as compared to the Chiron due to its Grand Touring nature. The car was sold for a price of €11 million, making it one of the most expensive cars built to date.
A statement made later by the company confirmed that the car on display was a concept car and that the final product would take two and a half years more to complete. The show car had electric motors instead of an engine for easy maneuverability.
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire was added in the Full Throttle Update as a high-end Class S car with the following rank statistics:
- Stock rank: 3,819 ( 1)
- rank: 3,980
- rank: 4.164 ( 40)
- rank: 4,363 ( 45)
- rank: 4,569 ( 60)
- rank: 4,814 ( 70)
- rank: 5,041 ( 85)
The La Voiture Noire has similar performance to the Bugatti Chiron, but with slightly better handling and more "floaty". It can be a decent contender in certain races but it is still inferior to the Koenigsegg Jesko, Rimac C Two and SSC Tuatara. Due to the severe difficulty of its Drive Syndicate event, the La Voiture Noire will only be obtainable for players that have stockpiled a large number of resources to upgrade it.
The key for the car could be obtained in its Drive Syndicate Event.
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire was added in the 2021 Spring Update as a high Class S car with the following stats:
Performance & usage
The La Voiture Noire is a poor choice for multiplayer at stock due to its high starting rank. Once fully upgraded, the La Voiture Noire is very useful for multiplayer as it can often make strong starts with its rapid acceleration. In Gauntlet, it is best used in slot 1 if its segment does not have sharp corners.
Price & availability
The La Voiture Noire was originally obtainable by reaching Tier 1 with the Premium upgrade in its Festival. It is also occasionally available in the Garage as a limited-time offer, with a base purchase cost of 20,000. Upgrades require 220 kit cards and 7,440,000.
The La Voiture Noire is obtainable a second time by reaching Tier 20 with the Premium upgrade in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ Festival. Players who already own the car would win 3x Bugatti La Voiture Noire Kit instead.
The La Voiture Noire is obtainable a forurth time for reaching Tier 20 with the Premium upgrade in the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Festival. Players who already own the car would win 8x Wild Card - Superb instead.
