The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 50th Anniversary Edition is a high-performance version of the sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro pony car.
Overview[]
The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a high performance version of the Gen 6 Camaro, with a supercharged 6.2 L (6,162 cc) V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C7). It features a lower grill opening for improved cooling, a front splitter, and a carbon hood insert which removes hot air from the engine compartment. It also features wider front fenders to accomodate wider tires for improved handling, unique rockers, and Magnetic Ride suspension.
Transmission choices are either a rev-matching 6-speed manual transmission or a new 10-speed 10L90 automatic transmission developed by General Motors in collaboration with Ford.
This model should not be confused with its track-focused version, the Camaro ZL1 1LE, which features Multimatic spool-valve shocks (similar to the previous generation Camaro Z28), a front splitter, dive planes, a rear wing, a 60 lb. weight reduction, and wide "Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar" tires.

Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 appears as a low Class C car with the following rank statistics:
Performance[]
At 3* MAX, the Camaro ZL1 has similar performance to the DS E-TENSE with decent acceleration, and amazing handling and nitro efficiency. This comes at the cost of a low top speed as the Camaro ZL1 only has a top speed of 281 kmh / 175 mph, which is the same as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, making it the slowest in Class C, even when every other car is at stock.
Usage[]
The Camaro ZL1 can perform quite well in multiplayer if the player does not have any better cars such as the Rezvani Beast X or Dodge Viper ACR, or their E-Tense is being refilled. As the E Tense is a very common car in Silver League, this makes the ZL1 viable, as it is near identical in performance to the E-Tense. In events, its low top speed will restrict it to only being suitable for technical tracks as better options such as the Ford Shelby GT350R will be able to achieve faster lap times on speed-oriented tracks.
Availability[]
The Camaro ZL1 appears regularly as a bundle in the Shop. Blueprints can be obtained through career and the weekly Class C cup.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 50th Anniversary Edition was added in the Tenth Anniversary Update as a high Class B car with the following stats:
- Starting rank: 1023
- PRO rank: 1681 (+658)
- Tuning Kit: +50
- Nitro efficiency: ?/?/?
