The Coin Rush (Coin Hunt) was a Prop Hunt event for Asphalt 8: Airborne as part of the 2024 Christmas Update. It was held on the following dates:

Description[]
The objective of the event is to collect rewards by choosing and flipping over a face-down featured reward cell on a board of 24 total in exchange for a varying number of Coins. The locations of the rewards on the board are reshuffled before each draw, but rewards that have already been claimed remain face-up. The number of Coins required to draw a reward incrementally increases with each reward redeemed.
Players receive 1 free Coin per day. Additional Coins can be obtained by the following methods:
- buying for
50 (for 8 Coins, with a purchase limit of 3) - buying for 8 (for 20 Coins, with a purchase limit of 1)
- buying for 500 (for 80 Coins, with a purchase limit of 2, available every 8 days)
- buying various in-app purchase bundles, either with Vouchers or real-money
- earning by watching ads (limited to 3 per day)
- collecting in the dedicated Time-limited events (if the player exceeded the amount of Coins that can be obtained per day, this option is greyed out).
There are a total of 1 Time-limited event, available for 14 days. In this event, Coins would appear on the track, and were collected by driving through them, similar to R&D's Quality Checks. After the race ended, the player was offered a chance to watch an ad to increase the number of Coins collected by 1. Only one ad could be watched after each race, and after the player watched 3 ads per day, the option would no longer be offered.
After 8 days the board would reset to a new board with different rewards. The number of Coins that the player hasn't spent on the previous reward board will be carried over to the next board, until the event ended.
If the player has leftover Coins when the event ends, the Coins will be nulled and cannot be used in future events.
