The Compact Shuffle Box was a Pro Kit Box in Asphalt 8: Airborne introduced in the 2018 Spring Update.
It is one of the few boxes that still grant bike-specific cards after the 2019 Spring Update. It even still grants blueprints although blueprints were removed from the game by the 2019 Holiday Update.
Availability[]
The box could be be obtained as a random reward from the milestone version of Daily ads during the 2019 Halloween Update, but was later replaced by the
Optimal Shuffle Box during the 2019 Holiday Update. This makes it de facto unavailable.
It was initially granted for completing a Daily Tasks streak. As of the Fast Lane Update, completing a streak now rewards
100 instead of a box, so the Compact Split Box was practically discontinued until its revival in the 2019 Halloween Update.
Hidden rules[]
The Compact Shuffle Box always grants 2 pairs of equal common rarity cards: 1 pair of a common blueprint and 1 pair of a common part, tech or engine card. Players can redraw up to three times, either the blueprint pair or the Part/tech/engine pair.
Even after the 2019 Holiday Update entirely removed blueprints from the game, the Compact Shuffle Box still grants them.
Opening strategy[]
Players who only open Compact Shuffle Boxes to get Fusion Coins should
- never redraw the first card pair. It always grants common blueprints which will give
500 per card. - try to get one of the following cards from the second pair by redrawing:
Analysis[]
Probabilities[]
As the Compact Shuffle Box always grants 2 equal cards and players can redraw up to three times, they can increase the probability of getting desired items by rejecting unwanted cards. See
Optimal Shuffle Box for a detailed example.
