Credits are the basic and main currency of Asphalt 9. Credits are used to upgrade cars, apply Import Parts and buy blueprints in the Legend Store.

Tokens are the premium currency of Asphalt 9. Tokens can be used for a variety of things:

Purchasing Card Packs in the Shop
Purchasing Relay Packs in the Shop
Purchasing blueprints in the Legend Store

Skipping waiting times
Skipping goals/tiers in Special Events/the Legend Pass

Season Tokens[]

Season Tokens were the premium currency of Asphalt 9 that were debuted during Racing Through Fire & Hall of Flames Update. Season Tokens could be earned in each season and could only be spent within the season, and at the end of each season, were converted into Tokens. Season Tokens could be used to purchase Card Packs and Relay Packs in the Shop.

On Italian Revolution Update, Season Tokens were discontinued, although viewable in the currencies tab until the complete removal in the West to East & Eurobloom Update. Season Tokens were scheduled to be replaced by Diamonds for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5 versions of Asphalt Legends Unite.

Vouchers are the premium currency of the China Version of Asphalt 9. Vouchers can only be purchased with real-life money and are used to purchase cars instead of having to collect blueprints.

Overclock Chips are used for overclocking to boost ranks of select cars in certain seasons in a certain amount of time under Overclock feature which debuted in Italian Revolution Update. Up to 1000 chips can be collected.

Keys are used to unlock cars instead of blueprints. The following cars can be unlocked with a key in an event where a Key is rewarded:

All cars released within Drive Syndicate events as main cars for events.
All cars released within Grand Prix/Looper Prix (except for McLaren GT and McLaren Senna GTR).
