Exchange Points is the unofficial name for an unnamed and undocumented subsidiary currency with the sole purpose of selling and buying →Cards. Exchange Points cannot be earned, bought or spent. The only way is to exchange Cards for Exchange Points and vice versa. This is the same concept as the former Fusion points small a8 Fusion Points in Asphalt 8: Airborne.

As with most currency transactions in real life, this exchange is always connected with a loss. An additional disadvantage is that players cannot directly exchange Cards for Exchange Points, but only via random containers: There are five Kit Boxes that can be bought with Exchange Points, granting random cards that are only vaguely defined by the concept of rarity.

The balance display of Exchange Points has five sections marking the thresholds for each of the five Exchange Boxes. A blue bar shows the player's current amount of Exchange Points. An additional green bar indicates the amount of Exchange Points that would be added if the currently chosen cards were exchanged with the Exchange button. The Exchange Boxes can be bought with the Get the box! button.

Fuel is used for Time-Limited Events.

  • Cap: The Fuel bar capacity is infinite, but the number of cells in the bar changes according to the player's →VIP Level:
    • Level 0-3: 10 cells
    • Level 4: 11 cells
    • Level 5: 12 cells
    • Level 6: 13 cells
  • Spending:
    • Entry fee for Time-Limited Event races. Cost per race: Fuel small an 2-3
  • Earning:
    • Automatic: Fuel small an 1 every 10 minutes
    • Ads: Players can watch ads to gain Fuel.
    • Fuel full an Fuel refill: Refill of single Fuel cells, granted in Daily Reward (Fuel small an 4-50) and Kit Boxes (Fuel small an 1-7). The Fuel is added to a player's balance even if the bar is full and is displayed as numbers after the bar, for example "38/10". Important: Surplus Fuel is lost when the game is reinstalled. Players will restart with 10/10.
  • Buying:
    • An tokens small Tokens: Fixed price of An tokens small 100 for a complete Fuel refill, regardless of the number of empty cells.
  • Exchange rates:
    • Buy: Fuel small an 1 = An tokens small 10 to An tokens small 100, depending on the number of empty Fuel cells. This is extremely expensive and should only be considered as a last resort.

VIP Coins are needed to reach higher →VIP Levels. They cannot be earned but only be acquired trough in-game purchases.

  • Spending:
    The sole purpose of VIP Coins is to reach higher VIP level small an VIP Levels. Unlike VIP 1-5 full a8 VIP Points in Asphalt 8: Airborne, VIP Coins are subtracted from the players' balance once the next VIP level is reached, so they act as a real currency that is acually spent. Each level costs a certain amount of VIP Coins:

    • Prices in US$ are the same despite different exchange rates, so players from the USA have an advantage as long the exchange rate for $ 1 is below € 1.
