The DS Automobiles E-TENSE is an electric sports car serving as the successor to the Survolt.
The DS E-TENSE is an all-electric concept sports car built by DS Automobiles, Citroen's sub-unit. The car defines what the future of sports cars would look like. The E-TENSE is the successor of the Survolt.
The model was first conceived in 2016, as a competitor to Audi's R8 e-Tron. The car is built around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, above where the lithium-ion batteries lie. Two electric Siemens motors power the car, giving it 401 hp and 391 foot-pounds of torque, a top speed of 249 kmph (155 mph) and an electric range of 360 kilometers (223 miles) on a single charge.
The E-Tense appears as a low Class D car with the following rank statistics:
The DS E-Tense has quick acceleration, responsive handling, and one of the best nitro efficiencies in the entire game, with average top speed being the only drawback. When upgraded, the E-Tense is an excellent option for Class D races. For beginner players, this car is dominant in most situations and, if driven well on the right track, can beat many higher-ranked cars. It is one of the easiest early-game cars to drive.
The E-Tense is a very popular choice for multiplayer due to being very easy to drive and having very good nitro efficiency. It can compete with the Chevrolet Camaro LT, Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack and Porsche 718 Cayman.
The DS E-TENSE was added in the 2020 Spring Update as a high-end Class D car with the following statistics:
At stock, the DS E-TENSE has slow acceleration, low top speed, weak handling with sluggish responsiveness, an excellent nitro efficiency, and an average drifting radius.
At PRO, the DS E-TENSE has a total top speed of 365.7 km/h / 227.1 mph with a Tuning Kit.
The DS-E-Tense is obtainable by reaching Tier 8 in its Festival. If viewed in the Tag Racing car selection menu, it will show a price of 1,850, however, the option to buy the car is unavailable after the Festival is over.
As of the 2020 Halloween Update, the E-Tense can be purchased for 370,000.
