The Dodge Viper ACR (Phase VX I) is a track-oriented supercar which was produced as the top-performing road model variant of the Dodge Viper (Phase VX).

Overview[]

At SEMA 2014, Dodge presented a Viper ACR concept car based on the new VX I platform. After lots of rumors and speculation, the car was eventually introduced in 2015 for the 2016 model year. The base price of the 2016 ACR was US$121,395 in the United States and CA$159,995 in Canada.

The 2016 Viper ACR came in installed with an all-new aerodynamic body kit made from carbon fiber, that included a new front splitter and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing, altogether producing a total of 680.5 kg (1,500 lb) of downforce at corners. The 8.4-liter Viper V10 engine produced the same 645 hp (481 kW; 654 PS) and 600 lb⋅ft (813 N⋅m) as all other Viper trims. The brakes were from Brembo, with discs and calipers built specifically for the car. The discs were now carbon ceramic, a first for the Viper series. The braking system contains 391 mm (15 in) discs with 6-piston calipers up front, and 360 mm (14 in) discs with 4-piston calipers down the rear. The tires were from Kumho, using a set of tires called the Kumho Ecsta V720 ACR, a variant of the V720 specifically built for the ACR. The front tires are P295/25R19Z, slightly smaller than the regular Viper, and P355/30R19Z at the rear. Suspension system is made by Bilstein, which has 10 settings for rebound and compression tuning for the dampers.

On August 31, 2017, production of the Dodge Viper and its variants were discontinued with Fiat Chrysler citing un-met vehicle safety standards and a production plant's closure as the main factors.

Asphalt Nitro 2 Asphalt Nitro 2[]

The ACR is the high ranked Class-C car with worse top speed than the M4 GTS and AMG GTS but altough with top speed struggle, this car has better acceleration, handling and nitro duration, its a great car nonetheless. It appears to be a "WildCard" Vehicle in the Wildcard event.

Players who logged in for a limited time starting from March 20, 2020, were given Rare Blueprints 35 for the Dodge Viper ACR—enough to unlock the car—as part of a special gift "in this trying time" that also included 30 Ferrari F12tdf and 35 McLaren P1™ BPs.

Performance[]

The Viper ACR has good acceleration, handling, and nitro efficiency with a superb drifting radius and drifting speed but does have a low top speed. Despite the latter, it is very easy to drive and is a popular choice for Multiplayer, much like the Pininfarina H2 Speed and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
