The Ducati SuperSport S's Research & Development event was released as the 25th R&D event and as part of the Motorcycles Update in Asphalt 8: Airborne on September 9, 2017.
There are 4 labs spanning a total of 50 tests with a time limit of 10 days once the event is started.
The labs will unlock in the following schedule:
- Lab 002: 1 day later or pay

Tips / Warnings[]
- Owing to the difficulty of maneuvering a motorbike, it's highly recommended to practice with Suzuki GSX-R750 (which costs only 30,000 or 150) in Motor Blitz first, before taking on the R&D.
- The SuperSport is accessible in Moto Blitz once the event is started, this allows players to practice with the bike.
- Caution is advised for all Gate Drift tests. The short time limit means only a handful of gates can be missed without failing. Forgoing QC's for drift points is recommended.
- The time attack for Lab 48 has the tunnel accessible, a route that is always blocked off in other races modes. Using the tunnel is strongly recommended as the bridge route leaves no margin for errors even with ideal conditions.
- Having a stable connection is recommended before attempting a Time Attack lab as the game can fail to register as having finished the sprint and let the timer run out
