EVO Tuning is a car tuning feature in Asphalt Legends, introduced in the Heatwave: Afterburn Update.

Overview[]

Once a car that supports the EVO Tuning has been maxed out, this feature becomes available in its own menu. The EVO Upgrades consists of 5 upgrade categories: Engine, Drivetrain, Nitro System, Nitro Gain Kit, and Special Pack. In addition of 4 types of weight archetypes: Light, Neutral, Heavy and Overload.

To get a part for an EVO Upgrade, the player can randomly open 1 out of 24 cells by using an EVO Ticket, which 4 EVO tickets are given after maxing out an EVO car. In addition to EVO ticket, the player can also open with Tokens Tokens, with the value varies by each car. Once all 24 cells of a car have been opened, remaining EVO Tickets can be exchanged for Tokens Tokens, with the value again varies by each car.

An EVO car no longer supports Overclock upgrades, but its Epic upgrades can be applied with Tokens Tokens instead of Epic Import Parts.

In the Phantom Riders Update, new events dedicated for the feature were introduced.

Weight Archetype[]

While EVO tunes can improve the car significantly in terms of rank and performance, it also increases its weight.

Each car has their own base weight measured in kilograms. The car's weight archetype is based on the sum of EVO parts applied into instead of the MAX Blueprints Blueprints counter.

In races, just like the Overclock feature, the car's weight archetype icon is displayed at the left side of car's name.
