UCP migration: Calculation errors fixed [Edit]
Oct 15, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT WIKI EDITORS
Dear editors, Fandom has just fixed the calculation errors that appeared all over Asphalt Wiki. If a page still displays wrong numbers and errors, please purge it by adding "?action=purge" to the URL in your bowser to force the cached version to be cleared.
WARNING! Severe calculation errors due to Asphalt Wiki's migration to the Unified Community Platform (UCP) [Edit]
Oct 13, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
Dear editors, Fandom has caused a severe bug in the new MediaWiki software that causes {{formatnum:}} to behave in a non-standard way. The R switch in {{formatnum:1,000|R}} now delivers 1,000 instead of the raw 1000. This causes exceptions, error messages and wrong values all over Asphalt Wiki. If you see a message like Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character ",", please do not try to fix it! The error is on Fandom's side—our code is correct. We are doing our best to make Fandom fix this as quickly as possible as it severely affects the functionality of our whole site.
Asphalt 7 font now available on Asphalt Wiki [Edit]
Jul 20, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
The font of Asphalt 7, Orbitron Zero, is now implemented. It is automatically displayed in all tables using class="table-a7". See font page for interesting details.
Asphalt Wiki history project (1): Day pages are ready! [Edit]
Jul 14, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT WIKI EDITORS
To our editors: Let your readers see what happened on that day! You can now turn every day of the year into a link by simply putting it into the usual double square brackets, for example [[June 24]]. Many of the day pages may still be empty but June 24 already gives an impression how they will look like as we continue converting our archives into the new system. In the coming days, we will inform you about more new features of the history project. In the meantime you can try it out and turn a few days into links.
Calling out to our Chinese editors [Edit]
Jun 21, 2020 – Damian103 ASPHALT 9 EDITORS
The Chinese version of Asphalt 9 has received different updates and features compared to the global release and documenting it on the wiki would be useful, however a translation to english would be required. Google Translate has given mixed results, so if anyone here can understand Chinese and plays the Chinese version of A9, then any help in translating the updates and changelogs would be very much appreciated.
Fresh templates for lazy editors [Edit]
May 22, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 EDITORS
Our template system has been adapted to the new requirements of the latest Asphalt 8 updates. This concerns mainly the new cards, upgrade system, rarities and boosters. Have a look at the summary below to see how the templates can make your editing easier and more fun. Click the links for in-depth documentation.

– Upgrade tables: {{Pro upgrades table v4.2 a8}} now also handles the new card system and needs much less data to display a complete pro upgrade table. Just add a version = 5.0.0 parameter.
– To display any card as an icon, use {{A8card}}.
– To display one of the new cards as a currency, use {{A8commontires}}, {{A8commonsuspension}} etc.
– To display any booster, use {{5-Min Nitro Starter a8}}, {{10-Min Nitro Starter a8}} etc.
– To display text in the new rarity colours, use {{8c}}, {{8u}}, {{8r}}, {{8e}}, {{8l}}.
New color templates for Asphalt 8 v5.0 rarity types [Edit]
May 15, 2020 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 EDITORS
Editors can now use the color template shortcuts {{8c}}, {{8u}}, {{8r}}, {{8e}}, {{8l}} for the new Asphalt 8 rarity types common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary. Please do not change existing texts referring to the old rarity types. The old rarity templates {{Co}}, {{Ra}}, {{Le}} will remain for backwards compatibility.

Asphalt 9 editors will already know the naming covention from their templates {{9u}}, {{9r}}, {{9e}}.
IMPORTANT! Please do NOT rename update and event pages! [Edit]
Nov 13, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
There is a severe bug in the Fandom system which causes an unpredictable number of comments to be lost if you rename pages that have more than 100 comments. See WikiProject Subpages for a list of recent cases.

The whole comment system on Fandom will be replaced with the introduction of the Unified Community Platform. See section Article Comments (Fandom) on this page.

Please do NOT rename any page with more than 100 comments until the Unified Community Platform has been introduced!
More Asphalt fonts for design nerds [Edit]
Sep 20, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag XTREME EDITORS
Two more Asphalt fonts have been added: Hemi Head Bold Italic from Asphalt 6 and Asphalt Offroad from Asphalt Xtreme. See their articles for more details.
Asphalt 8 fonts now available on Asphalt Wiki [Edit]
Sep 14, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 8 EDITORS
Accidental Presidency and Monkirta Pursuit NC, the official Asphalt 8 fonts, are now also integrated on Asphalt Wiki. See their articles for more details. There is also the new template {{Font}} which makes it easier to assign fonts to wikitext for editors who don't like CSS code. Please keep in mind that the fonts should only be used for illustration purposes or gimmicks on your own userpage.
Asphalt 9 rarity text color templates available [Edit]
Sep 12, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 9 EDITORS
Uncommon, rare and epic items can now easily be formatted with the {{A9uncommon}}, {{A9rare}} and {{A9epic}} templates.
Template {{tabs vehicle}} released for public use [Edit]
Sep 11, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
The template can now be used by anyone who wants to help restructure the vehicle pages on Asphalt Wiki. Be sure to read the instructions on {{Tabs vehicle}} first. Championship, R&D and EDD pages should still only be renamed by admins because of the problems with moving large amounts of comments.
Please do not insert {{tabs vehicle}} on existing pages until further notice! [Edit]
Sep 7, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
We appreciate that our editors are so attentive and have already started using the new template. However, it is still a beta version and should only by used by admins until the documentation is written. Above all, do NOT rename Championship, R&D or EDD pages! There is a problem with comments being lost when these pages are renamed. Thanks for your cooperation. We will notify you when the final version is released and ready for use.
Asphalt 9 font now available on Asphalt Wiki [Edit]
Sep 1, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag ASPHALT 9 EDITORS
Rajdhani, the official ASPHALT 9 font, can now also be used on Asphalt Wiki. Simply assign the CSS class "font-a9" to the element you want to be rendered in Rajdhani. You can also download the font for free at Google Fonts. Asphalt 9 fans from India may appreciate that the font is also capable of displaying Devanagari characters.
Headers are now bold by default [Edit]
Aug 21, 2019 – Guy Bukzi Montag EDITORS
Example: === '''Header''' === and === Header === are now both rendered bold for a consistent appearance throughout Asphalt Wiki.

Furthermore, the h5 and h6 headers (===== Header ===== and ====== Header ======) now have the same size as normal text. Before, they were smaller than plain text which looked a bit weird.
