The Enhanced Split Box is a Pro Kit Box in Asphalt 8: Airborne. It is one of the few boxes that still grant bike-specific cards after the 2019 Spring Update.
Players can choose from 4 pairs containing 2 equal cards each and 3 pairs with 1 card each so that they have 11 cards in the end. This enables them to increase the frequency of a desired card by rejecting the other one.
Hidden rules[]
The presented card pairs follow certain rules:
- Equal type – Each pair is either Car Parts, Bike Parts, Tech or Engines.
- Equal rarity – Each pair has the same rarity.
- Equal class – If the pair is Car Parts or Bike Parts, they are of equal class.
- Exception – Engine cards can also appear together with Tech or Part cards. They break rule 1.
Furthermore, the official drop rates of this box are fixed. They are not average relative frequencies in the long run, but guaranteed for every single box. Every Enhanced Split Box grants exactly
- 7 common cards,
- 3 rare cards, and
- 1 legendary card.
The order of appearance is fixed, too. If a pair shows 2 x 2 cards, the double cards are always equal. Example:
Every box has the following scheme:
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 cards common |
2 cards common |
2 cards common |
1 card common |
2 cards rare |
1 card rare |

Analysis[]
Statistics[]
Although a player can only obtain 11 cards from this box, all 22 offered cards were included in the sample, so the sample size for this box shows 198 cards from 9 boxes, instead of the expected 99 cards. This has the advantage that all possible outcomes are included so that the relative frequencies of cards are unbiased and independent from the player's choice.

Engines[]
The Enhanced Split Box has a high engine frequency of 27.27 %. Combined with the fact that 4 of the pairs grant 2 equal cards, the box is a very good choice for players looking for one or several engine cards of the same kind. Besides, the Enhanced Split Box is one of the very few known boxes to grant bike engines after the 2019 Spring Update.
Tech[]
The frequency of Tech cards, on the other hand, is very low. The box is not recommended for Tech cards.
Parts[]
The share of bike parts in this box is very high:
- Bike parts: 35.35 %
- Car parts: 33.33 %
If the box is offered, it is a good occasion for players to get missing cards for their bikes or to prepare for future bike events.
