The Ferrari California is an open-top grand tourer manufactured by Ferrari.

Description

When originally unveiled, the California was powered by a front-mid mounted, rear wheel drive, naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8. In 2012 a lighter, slightly more powerful variant, the California 30 was introduced. In 2014, Ferrari announced the second generation of the model, named California T powered by a new twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8.

The car revives the name used on the late-1950s Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California and the 1960s 365 California. The modern California (2008) was originally introduced as an entry-level model, however, it included many new design innovations from Ferrari. The original base price of the California was similar to the base price of the F430, the company's V8 flagship sports car at the time of its introduction. In 2018, the California was succeeded by the Portofino.

Asphalt 7: Heat

The Ferrari California is a Tier 4 car placed between the Bentley Continental GT and Renault Alpine A110-50. The California is a nitro-oriented car as its nitro power is higher than the likes of the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, but is still inferior to the A110-50's 294 mph; nitro efficiency is also the second-best after the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.

The California, however, is not often recommended because it can require lots of stars (comparatively), which makes it harder to unlock, and forces the player to buy another car instead. However, the California’s high nitro boost is often the main reason for this. Its nitro allows the California to be an excellent all-rounder, better than the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, which has abysmal acceleration and a small nitro boost.
