The Ferrari F12tdf is a limited production, front-engined grand tourer, based on the F12berlinetta, featured in Asphalt 9: Legends.
Description[]
Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, the Ferrari F12tdf is a higher-performance variant of the Ferrari F12berlinetta grand tourer, named in homage to the Tour de France automobile race held between 1899 and 1986, which the Ferrari 250 regularly won between 1956 and 1964.
The F12tdf has the same 6.3 L (6,262 cc; 382.1 cu in) naturally aspirated V12 as the F12berlinetta, but known internally as the F140 FG. The F140 FG generates 769 hp (573 kW) and 520 ft·lb (705 N·m).
With a weight reduction of 243 lb (110 kg) compared to the standard F12berlinetta, the F12tdf weighs 3351 lb (1520 kg), resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 506 hp (377 kW) per tonne.
The F12tdf is capable of 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, 0 - 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds, and 0 - 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.9 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 211 mph (340 km/h).
With a lap time of 1m 21s on Ferrari's Fiorano test circuit, the F12tdf is the second fastest road car on that track, only behind the LaFerrari with 1m 19.7s.
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The Ferrari F12tdf appears as a high end Class B car with the following rank statistics:
- Stock rank: 2,356 ( 30)
- rank: 2,540
- rank: 2,812 ( 9)
- rank: 3,052 ( 13)
- rank: 3,394 ( 21)
- rank: 3,724 ( 32)
Perfomance[]
The Ferrari F12tdf has a good top speed, above-average acceleration, and stellar nitro efficiency, but it is plagued with poor overall handling. While the F12tdf has a decent drift radius, it will lose a lot of speed quickly. With skilled driving, the F12tdf's acceleration and nitro can alleviate the slow drift speed. The F12tdf excels on top speed oriented tracks such as Himalayas as more agile cars will be faster on technical tracks. Its main rivals are the SCG 003S and the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
Due to better cars being released and obtained by the players, it is now a below-average choice for multiplayer, so players choose the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport frequently, as it is easier to drive because it has much better handling, allowing it to defeat the F12tdf on most tracks if the F12tdf driver isn't skilled enough.
Availability[]
One way to obtain its blueprints is from the Legend Store, where they are sometimes available for prices starting from 215 or 120,000 per blueprint. Up to 5 can be bought per period and are available at garage level 12. Blueprints are also obtainable from Car Hunts and weekly Class B events, the latter having Class B+ packs that a slim chance of yielding a blueprint for the car.
Another way to get F12tdf blueprints was via Multiplayer, where when a season ends, the player would receive a random amount of F12tdf blueprints depending on the League they finished in, though sometimes McLaren P1™ or W Motors Fenyr SuperSport blueprints will be awarded instead. This has since been replaced with blueprints for the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Zenvo TS1 GT 10th Anniversary Edition and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren being awarded instead.
Players who logged in for a limited time starting from March 20, 2020, were given 30 blueprints (BPs) for the Ferrari F12tdf—enough to unlock the car - as part of a special gift "in this trying time" (referring to the 2020 COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak) that also included 35 each of Dodge Viper ACR and McLaren P1™ BPs. There was also a series of daily events in the new 2022 year, completing every goal of each of them yielded enough blueprints to unlock the car.
