- Not to be confused with the Ferrari J50.
The Ferrari F50 is a mid-engined supercar made by Ferrari that appears in the Asphalt series.
Description[]
The Ferrari F50 is part of Ferrari's limited-production supercar series, replacing the 1987-1992 Ferrari F40 in 1995 before being succeeded by the Enzo Ferrari in 2002 and the LaFerrari in 2013. The road car is available as a barchetta (Italian term for roadster) and the racing car is available as a berlinetta (Italian term for coupe) for the Ferrari F50.
Following the motorsport theme, Ferrari developed the F50 GT, a prototype based on the F50 that was built to compete in GT1-class racing. The car had a fixed roof, large rear spoiler, new front spoiler and many other adjustments. The 4.7 litre V12 engine was tuned to generate around 750 hp (559 kW). In testing in 1996 the car proved to be quicker even than the 333SP, but this went unnoticed as Ferrari cancelled the F50 GT project, instead focusing on Formula One. Ferrari sold off the three complete chassis that were built – the test cars 001, 002, and 003. Chassis 002 and 003 had bodies fitted before being sold. The remaining three tubs were apparently destroyed.
The Ferrari F50 has a 4.7 L (4,698 cc; 286.68 ci) Tipo 040-derived naturally aspirated 65° V12 producing 513 hp (383 kW) @ 8,000 rpm and 347 ft·lb (470 N·m) of torque @ 6,500 rpm. It is capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds, along with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The Ferrari F50 was added in the City of Lights Update as low Class B car with following stats:
Performance[]
The Ferrari F50 is nearly identical to the Aston Martin DB11 with the only difference being the Ferrari F50 having a better nitro efficiency.
Usage[]
The Ferrari F50 is a poor choice for multiplayer. It is low end in its class, and has the 2nd slowest acceleration in Class B, making it vulnerable to early knockdowns and slow recovery. The Aston Martin DB11 could even be a better choice, as the F50's only strength over the DB11 is nitro efficiency.
Availability[]
Blueprints of the Ferrari F50 were available from the Sakura Spring Season Legend Pass during the City of Lights Update.
Players who have downloaded Asphalt 9 from Galaxy Store on Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, and finished tutorial from said devices are able to get Gameloft Asphalt 9 Welcome Pack which includes 55 to unlock the car, 25,000, 100 and a card pack of the car.
The car was available from various Legendary Hunts of the car. As of Festive Sparks and Dragon Race Update, the car can now be obtained for completing various Ferrari contracts on Sponsorships which these contracts do reward up to 55 of the car.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]

Performance[]
The F50 is placed in the 1500 performance rank bracket, sitting next to the Rezvani Beast X, Porsche Cayman GT4, Arrinera Hussarya and Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo.
In multiplayer, the F50 primarily specializes in acceleration. It, alongside the Panamera, have the 2nd best acceleration for its rank bracket, being only slower than the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Anniversary Edition. While the F50 is also agile, the main drawback is its nitro duration as it is easily the worst for its rank bracket. A counter to this issue would be to use perfect nitro; its acceleration with perfect nitro is only slower than the Panamera and Lancer. While not a perfect solution, it is a possible method. Overall, if nitro can be managed correctly, the F50 is a very good choice for multiplayer.
The Ferrari F50 acts as an upgrade to the Ferrari 599XX, sharing the same performance traits of decently high raw speed, below-average-sized nitro, subpar nitro efficiency, and decent overall handling.
The Ferrari F50 is not recommended for use in Multiplayer as its acceleration will make it easy prey for the Apollo Intensa Emozione, Rezvani Beast Alpha, McLaren Mercedes MP4-25, 2018 McLaren X2, and more.
However, in Time-Limited Events, the F50 usually appears as the dominant car in some brackets. Upon its introduction, the F50 became the best Class B car purchasable with Credits, only behind the token-purchasable ONUK Sazan LM and Kepler Motion until the introduction of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, Ferrari GTC4Lusso, Lamborghini Estoque, Holden Coupe 60, McLaren MP4/8, TVR Sagaris, BMW M2 Special Edition and Mazda RX-8 Special Edition.
The Ferrari F50's Car Mastery rewards include a Double Credits booster.
The F50 was featured as an Enduro Car and a reward vehicle in the Enduro Double Down events for the Sbarro Sparta and Zenvo ST1.
Price & Availability[]
It was part of the 16th Multiplayer Season, Starlight Season, which started on November 23, 2017. Players who finish in the Elite League would get all 16 BP cards.
As of the 2019 Halloween Update, the F50 no longer requires Blueprints to be assembled, and had a full purchase price of 3,700.
As of the 2020 Halloween Update, the F50 can be purchased for 990,000 which was previously a blueprint car. Assembly of the Ferrari F50 required 16 of its Rare Blueprints and took 3 hours to complete or could be skipped for up to 232.
The F50 was a reward for reaching Tier 13 in the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta's Festival.
The F50 was made available for purchase for limited-time during the following periods:
- December 25 - 28, 2019: 3,700
- July 31 - August 2, 2020: 3,200
- December 29, 2020 - January 2, 2021: 3,000 (40% off)
As of the Gangstar Season Update, upgrades require 55 of each Uncommon Drivetrain, Uncommon Exhaust, Uncommon Suspension, Uncommon Tires, 60 Uncommon Tech, 160 Ferrari F50 Kit and 6,800,000.
Asphalt 7: Heat[]
The Ferrari F50 is a Tier 6 car, is the prize of Career Cup 7, and costs $480,000.
The F50 is biased towards acceleration over any other performance characteristic; the F50 has great launch speed, but it does come with the downsides of having the lowest top speed of its tier and a total speed tier no better than the Ferrari 458 Spider. It also has an average nitro efficiency. As the F50 can be unlocked even with rudimentary Tier 6 vehicles, the F50 can qualify as a starter car of the tier.
The F50 can be considered a Tier 6 version of the Ferrari 288 GTO; while the F50 may be viable in Career Mode even in later missions if sufficiently upgraded, the same cannot be said to multiplayer performance; while the F50 can outrun other faster cars like the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 or the Lamborghini Reventón at a start of a race, its low total speed tier results in the F50 easily caught up later in the race. However, unlike the 288 GTO, due to a smaller speed discrepancy between the F50 and the fastest cars in Tier 6, the F50 can be competitive in a handful of tracks like favor fast launch acceleration. One example of such is Paris, where the F50 loses less speed on corners and recover it quickly, similar to the McLaren 12C.
Asphalt Injection[]
The Ferrari F50 is unlocked by obtaining 190 Stars and costs 555,000 credits to buy.
