The Ferrari F50 is a mid-engined supercar that appears in the Asphalt series.
Overview
The Ferrari F50 is part of Ferrari's limited-production supercar series, replacing the 1987-1992 Ferrari F40 in 1995 before being succeeded by the Enzo Ferrari in 2002 and the LaFerrari in 2013.
Following the motorsport theme, Ferrari developed the F50 GT, a prototype based on the F50 that was built to compete in GT1-class racing. The car had a fixed roof, large rear spoiler, new front spoiler and many other adjustments. The 4.7 litre V12 engine was tuned to generate around 750 bhp (559 kW). In testing in 1996 the car proved to be quicker even than the 333SP, but this went unnoticed as Ferrari cancelled the F50 GT project, instead focusing on Formula One. Ferrari sold off the three complete chassis that were built – the test cars 001, 002, and 003. Chassis 002 and 003 had bodies fitted before being sold. The remaining three tubs were apparently destroyed.
The Ferrari F50 has a 4.7 L (4,698 cc; 286.68 ci) Tipo 040-derived naturally aspirated 65° V12 producing 520 PS (382 kW; 513 hp) @ 8,000 rpm and 347 lb·ft (470 N·m) of torque @ 6,500 rpm. It is capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds, along with a top speed of 204 mph (328 km/h).

Asphalt 7: Heat
The Ferrari F50 is a Tier 6 vehicle, available from the initial release of the game.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Ferrari F50 is one of five Ferrari vehicles introduced in the March 2015 Decals Update.
The Ferrari F50 is a high-end Class B car, with a starting rank of 1339, a maximum rank of 1557, and a final rank of 1656, making it the most powerful Class B vehicle in the game. Being a vehicle from the 1990s, the F50 has rather slow acceleration compared to most other Class B vehicles in the game, but isn't too slow. However, it has among one of the highest top speeds of any Class B vehicle, rivaling that of the Arrinera Hussarya. Coincidentally, when maxed out, the F50 shares its top speed with the Class A Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (229.8 mph / 370.1 km/h). The F50's cornering ability is also excellent. Compared to the Hussarya, the F50 has better nitro power and nitro duration, but still has worse acceleration and handling than the Mercedes-Benz Biome.
The Ferrari F50 currently costs 875,000 to be purchased, while it costs 1,515,525 to max out, making it the most expensive Class B vehicle in the game.
The Ferrari F50 qualifies for the following events:
- Race 27 of Season 5 — an Elimination event set in The Great Wall. Only Ferrari vehicles are allowed to participate.
- Race 12 of Season 7 — a Classic event set in the Alps. Only Ferrari vehicles are allowed to participate.
- Race 94 of Season 9 — a single-lap Classic event set in Barcelona Reverse. This event requires a maxed out Ferrari F50 in order to participate.

Trivia
- The Ferrari F50's Asphalt 8 in-game art depicts it from the rear, marking the first time in the game a vehicle has been depicted from the rear since the Jaguar C-X75 introduced in the June 2014 update.
- The Ferrari F50, despite its engine displacing less than 6 L (5,950cc+), uses the "v12_ferrari_f1612" engine sound in Asphalt 8 as opposed to using the "v12_lamborghini" sound like in Asphalt 7.
- The Ferrari F50 and Enzo Ferrari are also the only vehicles in Asphalt 8 whose starting acceleration stats do not have a zero as their third digit. Instead, the F50 has a seven (3.87 s), while the Enzo Ferrari has a five (3.65 s).
