The Festive Sparks and Dragon Race Update is the 34th update for Asphalt 9: Legends.
This update is marked as the final update under the Asphalt 9: Legends title for the Nintendo Switch. From Update 25 onwards, the game will be known as Asphalt Legends Unite.

Bugs and Glitches[]
- No rewards are shown when claiming card packs after a Multiplayer season ended. As a result, it doesn't show what kind of blueprints the player receives when pressing the "Claim" button.
- During the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder or McLaren Speedtails Starway, the loading screen of the Jaguar XJ220S TWRs Special Event is erroneously displayed.
- The driver model can also pop off from the car in mid-air while driving the Ferrari 296 GTB, just like the Infiniti Project Black S. This was fixed in the Speed Parade, Haunted Wheels & Black Friday Update.
- Nintendo Switch version's bugs:
- Attempting to exit and then re-entering the game will result in a crash.
- There has been numerous reports that some new cars (e.g: Lamborghini Invencible) could cause the refueling time reverted to the one used in the Global version, which would not match the refuel time when the car was added from the Wanderlust and Fifth Anniversary Season Update onwards.
- Since June 28, 2024, the Daily Car Loot, as well as Weekly Competition, Elite: Class B, and Car Hunt are missing.
- The cost for the Card Pack of the Car Hunt for the De Tomaso P900, Mazda Furai, NIO EP9, and Aston Martin Victor has been reduced to 2,000/ 4,000.
- The 4th of July Weekend's Rank Rewards for Top 50%'s Credits give out 1.
- Since the Mazda Furai Car Hunt, a Car Hunt Start race costs 2 while a Car Hunt Riot race costs 3. It is unknown if Asphalt Legends Unite will revert the cost to 1.

Trivia[]
- This is the first update to add the third track of the year.
- This is the second consecutive update where the Windows and Xbox version of the update is delayed due to unspecified reasons.
- Responding to players' enquiries, Gameloft staff have directly pointed to delays in Microsoft's app update approval process that is beyond their control.
- Similar to the New Tech and Black Friday Update, Steam users could work around this issue by linking their progress to the Steam version of the game. The update was eventually released on December 19, 2023, one week after its release on all other platforms.
- Despite Season Tokens currency being debuted on Nintendo Switch version in this update, this currency was replaced with a new currency called "Diamond" in the next update, which is the Asphalt Legends Unite Expansion Update.
