Not to be confused with the Fifteenth Anniversary Update in Asphalt 9: Legends.
The Fifteenth Aniversary Update is the 41st update of Asphalt 8: Airborne. As its name suggests, it celebrates fifteen years since the debut of the Asphalt series.

NEW PRO KITS SYSTEM
We are adding new card rarities and reorganizing all vehicle' Pro Kits requirements to create more clarity and accessibility for you when managing resources and progressing through the game!
INVENTORY REWORK
We are dedicated to bringing you the smoothest experience and we continue to enhance the game interface! From now on, you can easily operate your inventory, sell items and even convert card rarities!
CHECK YOUR INBOX
The new INBOX section will temporarily hold your new items if you don't have enough slots in the Inventory. You can take a moment to free up space or expand your storage for the desired items.
LEGACY BOXES
Last but not least, the Pro Kit Boxes are leaving the game. From now you will receive the required cards from rewards and purchases directly and with full transparency! And don't worry, existing Pro Kit Boxes will be moved into the INBOX section, so you can get your cards!

- upgrades can only be applied to vehicles that have all upgrades applied first.
- Motorcycles no longer have kit upgrades; their kit upgrades are included in recalculated upgrades.
- Event types, car requirements, race tasks, and completion rewards are adjusted to accommodate the new kit system.
- Free upgrade rewards have been removed from the Collection rewards and replaced by Double Credit boosters.

- Pro Kit Boxes:
- The number of rarity types is increased to five: two new "Uncommon" and "Epic" rarities are added between the existing rarity types (see the table to the right).
- Pre-Update Kit Boxes are now called "Legacy Boxes" and grant cards with the new rarity types.
- Legacy Boxes that are still in a player's inventory get a Legacy marker and a 60-day expiration timer.

- The exchange rate for cards from Legacy Boxes has been drastically reduced by around factor 2, sometimes even more. The table to the right shows the average Fusion Coin value per card for some common boxes before the update, based on a sample size of 18,438 cards from WikiProject Statistics, compared with the Fusion Coin value after the update, displayed above the "Exchange" buttons in the new inbox.
It is strongly advised to open boxes and fuse cards BEFORE installing the update!
