The GTA Spano, also known as the Spania GTA Spano, is a mid-engined, limited production supercar created by Spain-based car maker Spania GTA.
Description
After 15 years of racing experience in various leagues with Spania GTA Competición, team director Domingo Ochoa wanted to pursue his goal of bringing a Spanish sports car into production. On April 29th, 2009, After five years in development, the GTA Spano was first presented to a select group at L'Hemisfèric in the City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia. This pre-production model used an 8.3 L twin-turbocharged Viper V10 engine, rated at 780 hp (582 kW) and 920 N⋅m (679 lb⋅ft) of torque on regular pump gas and up to 820 hp (611 kW) on E85 biofuel.
The GTA Spano was first displayed to the public at the 2010 Top Marques Monaco exhibition. It was displayed with the same specifications as the previous year's prototype.
The Spano GTA made its first Geneva Motor Show appearance the following year, in March 2011. This version of the car also used the 8.3 L V10, with three transmission options: a 7-speed automatic, a 7-speed paddle shift automatic, and a 7-speed manual.

Performance
The GTA Spano is a top speed-focused car, with high top speed stats and handling/drifting capabilities across the board at the expense of acceleration and nitro power. It has a real total speed of 280.4 mph/451.5 km/h at MAX+PRO with a Tuning Kit, identical to the Mercedes-AMG GT3 without Elite Tuning.
The Spano has a nitro efficiency rating of 9/14/18 but is still considered to be better than the RUF CTR 3 due to having a quicker acceleration and similarly sharp handling/drifting.
Usage
Despite its decent performance for its rank, it is overshadowed by many far better S, A and even B class cars and hence does not have any particular use whatsoever except for Career Mode races.
Price
The GTA Spano had an original buying price of 70,000 that was increased to 160,000 and updated to 160,000 or 1,050 before being reduced to 150,000.
As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 956,000 while Pro Kits require 320,000, 12 of each Class S Part, 4 Initial/Early Techs each, 12 Mid-Techs, 8 Advanced Techs and 4 V10 Engines.
