Asphalt Urban GT is a racing video game for the Nintendo DS and the Nokia N-Gage handheld video game consoles. It was developed by Gameloft and published by Ubisoft, and released on November 21, 2004, making it one of the earliest DS launch titles. It has support for wireless multiplayer with up to four opponents, and takes advantage of the DS's support for 3D graphics (while showing unaccelerated N-Gage's power to match DS's graphics), showing the action from three camera angles. Replays are also available. The bottom screen of the DS is utilized to provide strategic tips and player information.

The game sports nine tracks modelled after real-world locations such as Paris and New York City. The game's 23 cars are licensed from real manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Hummer, Volkswagen, and others, and can be enhanced with over 30 addons.

A sequel to the game was later released.

Asphalt 2: Urban GT is racing video game developed and published by Gameloft for the Nintendo DS, N-Gage and PlayStation Portable. A 2.5D Java ME version for mobile phones was also released.

The game features a special appearance from The Pussycat Dolls, and a sample of Moby's single "Lift Me Up". The Nintendo DS version was released approximately a year after the N-Gage version, with improved graphics, sound, and dual screen compatibility. A PSP version has been released in March 2007.

Asphalt 3: Street Rules is a racing video game that was released in 2006 on Java-based mobile phones, in 2007 on non-Java based mobile phones and was also released in 2008 for Nokia's N-Gage 2.0 gaming platform. It is the first mobile game to be played at the World Cyber Games competition. It was the first in the series not to be released for the Nintendo DS.

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is a racing game published and developed by Gameloft. It was released on iOS and iPod on August 28, 2008, N-Gage on January 20, 2009, mobile phones in mid July 2008 and DSiWare on July 6, 2009. A sequel of the game called Asphalt 5 was released in 2009 for iOS and Palm Pre. This game marks the first game in the Asphalt series to be released for the iOS.

Asphalt: Audi RS 3 was released on March 3, 2011 as part of a promotional deal between Audi and Gameloft. The game runs on the same base as Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and features only one car, the Audi RS 3 Sportback, which participants could win in real life. The contest ran for 13 days, between March 3 and March 16, after that the game was removed from app stores.

Asphalt 3D, released in Japan as Asphalt 3D: Nitro Racing (アスファルト 3ディー: ニトロ レーシング?), is a racing game published by Ubisoft (Konami in Japan) and developed by Gameloft for the Nintendo 3DS handheld video game console. It was released in Japan on March 10, 2011, in Europe on March 25, 2011, in North America on March 27, 2011, and in Australia on March 31, 2011. It is part of the Asphalt series and was one of eight 3DS launch titles published by Ubisoft. It was revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 (E3 2010).

A direct conversion of an Apple iOS game, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Asphalt 3D includes 17 tracks based on real-life locations and 42 licensed sports vehicles. It features several game modes, while multiplayer is supported up to six players using local wireless play. Asphalt 3D received negative reviews, with much of the criticism was directed at poor controls, numerous bugs, poor visuals, and a choppy framerate. It has received compilation scores of 43% and 47% on Metacritic and GameRankings, respectively.
