The Infiniti Q60 Project Black S is a Special Edition car appearing as a fictional tuned version of the Infiniti Q60 Project Black S, with aftermarket customization.

- Custom widebody kit and spoiler
- Central exhaust (similar to the 2017 version of the Infiniti Project Black S)

- The Chinese New Year zodiac sign of the car's release: the Rat
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
Summary[]
The Infiniti Project Black S Special Edition was added in the 2020 Lunar New Year Update as a mid Class A car with the following statistics:
- Starting rank: 1110
- PRO rank: 1680 (+570)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +50
- Nitro Efficiency: 6/11/16
As of the Fifteenth Anniversary Update, the Infiniti Project Black S Special Edition is now a high-end Class B car.
As of the Eighth Anniversary Update, the Infiniti Project Black S Special Edition is a high Class D car with the following rank statistics:
- Starting rank: 1010
- PRO rank: 1321 (+311)
- Tuning Kit Bonus: +39
- Nitro Efficiency: 6/11/16
Performance[]
At stock, the Infiniti Project Black S Special Edition has decent acceleration, low top speed, weak handling, decent drifting radius, and average nitro efficiency. At PRO, it has a total top speed of 458.5 km/h / 284.7 mph with a Tuning Kit.
Usage[]
As with all other Festival vehicles, the Project Black S Special Edition is not suitable for Multiplayer or Career Mode, unless near rank. Near stock rank, it is slower than similarly ranked vehicles (including Stock non-Festival vehicles) and as such, will struggle to win.
With the March 5, 2021 hotfix in the 2021 Lunar New Year Update that nerfed the Acura NSX GT3 Evo's acceleration, the Project Black S Special Edition is now the fastest acceleration Class B vehicle and is a competitive option for multiplayer. Similar to the NSX, the Project Black S Special Edition's main strength is its superior acceleration when compared to the Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition.
Price[]
The Project Black S Special Edition is obtained by reaching Tier 11 of the New Year Festival. If viewed in the Tag Racing car selection menu, it will show a price of 10,000, however, the option to buy out the car is unavailable.
