The Jaguar F-Type R is a vehicle by Jaguar in the Asphalt series. The Jaguar F-Type R is the replacement of the Jaguar E-Type.
Overview
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Jaguar F-Type R is one of only two Jaguar vehicles in Asphalt 8, with the other being the Jaguar C-X75. Prior to Decals Update both Jaguars were Premium Cars, meaning they couldn't be purchased with Credits or Tokens. The F-Type R was only obtainable from the Aero Premium Pack, alongside the SSC Ultimate Aero XT, for an extremely high price. Currently both Jaguars and the SSC Ultimate Aero XT can be bought with Tokens.
The Jaguar F-Type R has a starting rank of 1192 that reaches up to a maximum of 1382 (one point above the Maserati GranTurismo Sport from Class B), and a final rank of 1500, effectively making it the second most powerful Class C vehicle in the game, behind the Felino cB7's 1529.
The Jaguar F-Type R has its advantages in acceleration and top speed. It has the highest top speed of any Class C car in the game. However, the nitro boost is very weak and inefficient, hampering the acceleration. Also, with a moderate handling stat, caution is best advised on difficult tracks like Monaco and Dubai. Despite these shortcomings, the F-Type R is always seen in the top 100 leaderboards spots of time-limited events that involve Class C cars.
The Jaguar F-Type R costs 907,350 to max out.

Trivia
- In the in-game art promoting the Aero Premium Pack, a yellow Jaguar F-Type R is shown, even though the yellow color is never available for the car in-game.
- In continuation with common mislabeling of British cars, the Jaguar F-Type depicted in the game is actually a Jaguar F-Type convertible (base model). The "R" designation is only used on the Jaguar F-Type coupé.
- The Jaguar F-Type R's competitors are the Dodge Viper GTS, Nissan GT-R (R35), Mercedes-AMG GT and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Therefore, the Jaguar F-Type R is considered as a premium sports car.
