The Kimera EVO37 is a restomod of the Lancia Rally 037, famous for being the last RWD car to win a WRC championship.
Overview[]
The Kimera EVO37 is a restomod paying homage to the original Group B rally car Lancia Rally 037. Like Lancia 037, it was based on Lancia Beta Montecarlo, only retaining its mid-engine, RWD, and center section of chassis, while most parts being made by the brand including the all-carbon bodywork weighting 2425 lbs.
The car uses twin-charged inline-4 engine that produces 505 horsepower at 7,000–7,250rpm, with Volumex supercharger found in the original 037, and Garrett turbocharger as an addition. It also uses Öhlins dampers (2 per rear wheel) and Brembo brakes.
Only 37 units are being produced.[1]
