Kit Box

A Kit Box is a random container granting cards and other items in Asphalt Nitro.

Claiming boxes

It is generally advised that players keep their inventory full when claiming or buying boxes. This moves the new box into the pending boxes list instead of opening it immediately. While the pending boxes list can contain an unlimited number of boxes, the inventory space is limited and expensive. Keeping boxes in the pending boxes list enables players to open only those which contain cards they currently need.

Boxes are mostly opened immediately after obtaining them, but there are a few exceptions when a box is moved to the pending boxes list no matter if there is enough inventory space to open it.

Exchange system

Exchange Boxes are the only boxes that do not grant Fuel or boosters. Although their names refer to Part classes, the boxes can also grant Engine and Tool cards. Part cards granted by Exchange Boxes always have the class denoted by the box name. The in-game help pages say that these boxes are only available through the Exchange system, but as an exception, the D-Class Box is also offered during a one-time only "Special promotion" at the beginning of the game.
