− | The Koenigsegg Agera R is the last of the seven original Class S cars and, subsequently, the last of the 47 original cars. |

+ | ===Performance=== |
||
− | In the same fashion as most of the original Class S cars, the Agera R's performance prefers top speed and handling over all other performance aspects. Weighing {{weight|3126}}, the Agera R's acceleration is lackluster when compared to similarly-ranked cars, especially due to having a very low [[nitro]] stat, the lowest possible in the game. Because of its low nitro stat, it has its nitro efficiency set at 10/15/20, the worst possible combination for any car in the game. To make up for this, the Agera R features relatively sharp handling and a very high top speed stat. One thing to note about this car is its unusual instability; more often than not, the Agera R can skid out of control or otherwise simply oversteer and [[wreck]]. Another disadvantage of this car is that it has a large speed multiplier of 87.17%. While not necessarily the worst, it is still very misleading, as the Agera R, at MAX+PRO with a Tuning Kit, has its maximum total speed displayed as 331 mph (533 km/h), but in reality, the Agera R actually runs at only 288.8 mph (465.1 km/h). |

Weighing {{weight|3126}}, the Agera R's acceleration is lackluster when compared to similarly-ranked cars, especially due to having a very low [[nitro]] stat, the lowest possible in the game. It also suffers from a very low nitro efficiency rating. It is for these reasons that it is inferior to many vehicles with a similar or lower total speed or rank, including but not limited to the [[Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640]], [[Lamborghini Estoque]], [[McLaren MP4/8]] (except on long tracks), [[W Motors Lykan HyperSport]], and [[Ferrari GTC4Lusso]]. |

+ | The [[Holden Coupe 60]] shares the same basic performance traits as the Koenigsegg Agera R, although the Holden is marginally faster, at 289.2 mph/465.6 km/h, and has a much greater difference between its starting and MAX+PRO rank. As such, the Agera R could be seen as a slightly downgraded, Class S version of the Holden. |

||
+ | ===Usage=== |
||
− | Given the Agera R's lackluster performance for its rank, as well as the car's instability, the Koenigsegg Agera R is not a recommended choice for either [[Events]] or Multiplayer, as its low nitro efficiency and underwhelming performance render its competitiveness very low. Even with the best Multiplayer-friendly upgrade configuration for this car, it is still nowhere as competitive as the likes of the [[McLaren Mercedes MP4-25]], [[W Motors Lykan HyperSport]], [[Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning]], [[Lamborghini Estoque]], or the aforementioned Holden Coupe 60. The Lykan is a much better choice due to having far more well-balanced performance even for a higher price, and in most cases, the Lykan is better than the Agera R. At the time of ''Asphalt 8: Airborne''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s original release, the Agera R would rival the Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning for the fastest car in the game; while the Silver Lightning can conserve nitro better and is much cheaper in upgrading, the Agera R has a higher total speed and better handling. |
||

The Koenigsegg Agera R is a hypercar produced by Koenigsegg from 2013 to 2015 that is a variant of the Koenigsegg Agera hypercar produced from 2011 to 2017.
Description
Debuting at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Koenigsegg Agera R was the first of the Agera variants. The 2013 Agera R is an updated version of the 2011-2012 version. Upgrades included carbon fiber wheels, enhanced aerodynamics, and engine upgrades.
The Agera R has a drag coefficient of 0.37 or 0.33 at high speed due to its adaptive rear wing, while producing 662 lb (300 kg) of downforce at a speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). This adaptive rear wing system is lighter than conventional hydraulic/electrical adaptive systems and has the unique ability to compensate for headwind/tailwind due to its spring-loaded design. Furthermore, the pylons holding the wing play not only a role in the Agera R's aerodynamic performance, but also assist in extracting hot air from the engine bay.
Carrying the same 5.0 L (5,032 cc) twin-turbocharged V8 engine as other Ageras, the 2013 Agera R's V8 produces 1157 hp (863 kW) at 7,100 rpm and 885 ft·lb (1200 N·m) of torque at 4,100 rpm on E85. It has an RPM limiter set at 7,500 rpm. The Agera R can produce lateral cornering forces of 1.60 g, due to a combination of mechanical balance and high levels of grip from the specially-developed Michelin Supersport tires. With Koenigsegg's Flex Fuel Sensor technology, the ECU can respond to varying fuel qualities and alcohol content by reducing power levels as a means of protecting the engine. On standard low octane fuels, the Agera R's power is cut to 960 hp (716 kW).
The Agera R has a weight of 3126 lb (1418 kg). resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 816 hp per tonne or 2.70 lb (1.22 kg) per horsepower. The car is capable of acceleration from standstill to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.8 seconds, and a theoretical top speed exceeding 260 mph (419 km/h) and cutting off at 273 mph (439 km/h).
Asphalt 7: Heat
The Koenigsegg Agera R makes its debut in the Asphalt series in Asphalt 7: Heat, as a secret unlockable car. Alongside the SSC Tuatara, the Agera R is the fastest car in that game, at the highest end of Tier 7. It is also infamous for being extremely difficult to unlock in that game, only available to win at the Car Lottery.
Asphalt 8: Airborne

Performance
The Koenigsegg Agera R's performance prefers top speed and handling over all other performance aspects. Weighing 3126 lb (1418 kg), the Agera R's acceleration is lackluster when compared to similarly-ranked cars, especially due to having a very low nitro stat, the lowest possible in the game. It also suffers from a very low nitro efficiency rating. It is for these reasons that it is inferior to many vehicles with a similar or lower total speed or rank, including but not limited to the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640, Lamborghini Estoque, McLaren MP4/8 (except on long tracks), W Motors Lykan HyperSport, and Ferrari GTC4Lusso.
Even at MAX+PRO, the Koenigsegg Agera R's below-average acceleration and stability still show, although the car has a very high top speed stat — with a Tuning Kit, it can reach a maximum total speed of 288.8 mph/465.1 km/h, which falls fractionally behind the Mercedes-AMG GT3's 288.9 mph/465.2 km/h.
The Holden Coupe 60 shares the same basic performance traits as the Koenigsegg Agera R, although the Holden is marginally faster, at 289.2 mph/465.6 km/h, and has a much greater difference between its starting and MAX+PRO rank. As such, the Agera R could be seen as a slightly downgraded, Class S version of the Holden.
Usage
The Koenigsegg Agera R is a poor choice for Multiplayer as it will be put in races with the Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4, Apollo Intensa Emozione, 2018 McLaren X2, Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG Special Edition, Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition, Aston Martin Vulcan, and Rezvani Beast Alpha, none of which the Koenigsegg Agera R can compete with.
The Koenigsegg Agera R is featured in three races in Season 8 Career Mode, the first is a Versus race alongside the Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning, the second is a Versus race alongside the W Motors Lykan HyperSport and the third is a Classic race in French Guiana against other Agera Rs.
The Koenigsegg Agera R also counts towards the Euro Aces collection which awards a total of 10 Tuning Kits when both versions are completed.
The Koenigsegg Agera R's 15th Car Mastery Challenge is an Unplugged race in Alps Reverse, which can used for grinding as it pays out 6,150 with an average race time of 54 seconds, however, the event can no longer be replayed since the Fast Lane Update.
Price
The Koenigsegg Agera R costs 425,000 or 2,375 to purchase (initially 375,000). It was however, removed from the Garage in the 2019 Holiday Update for non-owners.
As of the 2019 Spring Update, upgrades cost 1,215,000 while Pro Kits require 405,600, 12 of each Class S Part, 24 Mid-Techs, 16 Advanced Techs and 20 Forced-Induction V8s.
As of the 2019 Holiday Update, the Agera R no longer has any upgrades and has been replaced with the status.
