Description
- Text originally from the Koenigsegg Agera's Wikipedia page.
The Agera RS was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, along with the prototype version of the Regera. The Agera RS is an advanced version of the Agera R, implementing some of the new technology and features of the One:1 and combining the features of the Agera R and the Agera S. Koenigsegg billed it as "the ultimate track tool" due to its lightweight features and track optimised technologies. The Agera RS produces 450 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. The 5.0-litre V8 engine now has a power output of 1,176 PS (865 kW; 1,160 hp) on regular pump gasoline. The optional 1-megawatt package increases the engine's power to 1,360 PS (1,000 kW; 1,341 hp). The Agera RS is limited to 25 units.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Koenigsegg Agera RS was added in the 2020 Christmas Update as a high Class S car with the following rank statistics:
- Ultimate rank: 1860
- Tuning Kit bonus: +55
- Nitro Efficiency: 8/12/16
Performance
The Koenigsegg Agera RS has decent overall performance with a very high raw top speed of 458 km/h / 284.4 mph, responsive handling, and a tight drifting radius, the latter of which enables it to tackle tight challenging corners and spirals easily.
An observable shortcoming of the Agera RS is its seemingly inadequate wheel grip, which makes it prone to skids under some specific conditions (e.g., while attempting to make a very sharp turn). However, such a situation is rare and should have little effect on the driving experience.
As an vehicle, the Agera RS has a relatively high raw top speed compared with those of the same rank when upgraded to
. Nevertheless, it may be disadvantaged compared with other
vehicles, such as the Arash AF10 and the Koenigsegg Jesko, which both have a much faster raw top speed (over 480 km/h) and similar accelerating & handling performances.
Generally, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is an outstanding vehicle with only a few minor weaknesses.
