Trivia
- Alongside the W Motors Fenyr Supersport, Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 and the Ferrari FXX K, the Koenigsegg Regera was a winner of the 2016 Asphalt 8 car poll.
- Despite having a twin-turbocharged V8 and 3 electric motors, the Koenigsegg Regera erroneously uses the common V8 Engine card in its Pro Kits (which normally appears on cars with naturally aspirated engines) instead of the Hybrid Engine card. This error is also seen on a number of other cars in the game.
- With the Koenigsegg Regera's unique powertrain, the "m3_gt2_v8" engine note used has constant redlining and is initially silent when accelerating.
- During Asphalt 9's soft launch, the nitro and exhaust fumes were erroneously emitted from the central vent instead of the two diffuser integrated exhaust pipes.
- The same error is present in its Asphalt 8 counterpart.
- The Koenigsegg Regera is the first car in Asphalt 8: Airborne to require more than 150 Pro Kit cards of any kind, requiring 160 Advanced Tech cards.
- The Koenigsegg Regera is the second car in Asphalt 8: Airborne which has a matte and a metallic black colour variant, after the Ford GT (2017).
- The Koenigsegg Regera has a rear spoiler which always stays in the retracted position, due to the game limitations.
