Koi Fish is a decal for the Nissan GT-R Nismo in Asphalt Street Storm Racing.
Description[]
Like many other decals for Japanese cars in the game, Koi Fish also has references to Japanese culture. In Japanese, koi (鯉) means carp. More specifically, nishikigoi (錦鯉, literally "brocaded carp") denotes colored varieties of the Amur carp that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor koi ponds or water gardens.
The decal quotes the red sun from the Japanese flag and shows a carp on the car's sides, together with the Japanese letters 錦鯉 for nishikigoi, the colored "brocaded" carp. There are several design mistakes:
- The shown carp is a normal one, not the colored nishikigoi breed.
- The letters 錦鯉 are mirror-inverted on both sides.
