The Korean Spring Update is the fifth content update for Asphalt Legends Unite after the rebrand, and 43rd update overall.
History[]
Earlier in the Asphalt channel's 2025 Roadmap video presented by Muttley, the community manager of ALU, for the plans of the March update, Gauntlet, Spotlight, Multiplayer rewards changes including the Multiplayer-exclusive Ford GT Mk IV, and other game experience improvements were mentioned to be included in the update.[1] Initially, this video accidently shown the Toyota GR Supra 2023 and Hyundai IONIQ 5 N being placed incorrectly in the garage. However, a few hours later, it was privated/removed then reuploaded with edits removing references of these cars.
In March 28, 2025, the playthrough of the Gauntlet event presented by Muttley was premiered in the Asphalt channel.[2]
Patch notes of the update and Korean Spring Season were later announced on March 29, 2025, by the official content creators including; Nox Fury[3], Tune, Race, Repeat![4], GamingWithAwesome[5] and LokeshG[6], and posted on the game's website on March 30, 2025.
The update was released on April 1, while the Korean Spring Season started on April 3.
The game, along with the update was launched on Epic Games Store on April 3, 2025.[7]
Patch notes of the Toyota and Lexus Season were announced initially by creators including; GamingWithAwesome[8], Tune, Race, Repeat![9], LokeshG[10] and SEFYA[11] on April 26, 2025, and Preview article for the season were posted on April 28.

Bugs & Errors[]
- At the launch of the update, the following Bugs & Errors have been fixed:
- The bug that prevented players from leaving their club.
- In Multiplayer, on the scoreboard after finishing a race, cars that have the letter "G" in their names were displayed with the letter "n" instead. For example, "GENTY AKYLONE" is displayed as "nENTY AKYLONE".
- Rimac Concept_One Starway's Bugs & Errors:
- The cars featured in the limited-time packs erroneously displayed the ones in the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder Starway.
- The cars featured in the in-app purchases of the Garage section included the Kimera EVO37 and the FV Frangivento GT65 - cars that were used as support cars in the event but were not displayed for non-owners. There were no offers to obtain the
keys of these cars.
- In Stage 3 of the Korean Food Festival Special Event Rerun that took place in Cairo - Subterranean Dash, one of the conditions required the player to get an air time of 0:06.500, which was impossible in such a layout.
- This was fixed on April 14, 2025, at the start of Stage 5.

Trivia[]
- Cars from Hyundai (Korean Spring Season), Toyota & Lexus (Toyota and Lexus Season) debuted as a special collaboration with the brands.
- This update also breaks the absence of Toyota brand in the Asphalt series due to licensing issues since 2016 (removal of Toyota Tundra at the game's launch) for Asphalt Xtreme and 2017 (the Supra RZ (Mark IV) and the Toyota's defunct marque Scion's FR-S were made unobtainable for non-owners since the Motorcycles Update) for Asphalt 8: Airborne, indicating that licensing terms of Toyota have been changed, allowing Asphalt series to license Toyota cars from now on.
- The logo of Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), Toyota's North American operating subsidiary, is used and mentioned in the licenses of Toyota & Lexus cars, with the phrase: "© (2025) Toyota Motor North America. All rights reserved.".
- This update can be related to the Asphalt 7: Heat's Hyundai Update back in 2012, in which 2 Hyundai cars were released and a contest was held for the game and the player who reached the top of the leaderboard won a trip to the 2012 Detroit Auto Show and South Korea,[18] similar to the Hyundai Experience TLEs.
- For the first time since Wanderlust and Fifth Anniversary Season Update, the update runs for 2 seasons and features 2 separate cars for both Unite Pass (known at the time as Legend Pass).
- They are also the final Unite Passes to use the current format, as the Unite Pass will be revamped in the subsequent May 2025 update as mentioned in the 2025 Roadmap.
- The Drive Syndicate 11 is the first Drive Syndicate event to...
- ... debut only one new car other than the event's main car.
- ... be held between April and May unlike other events, which were held between July and September, or December and January.
- ... introduce a car that isn't part of the elites of its class since Drive Syndicate: Undercover Ops in the Bring the Heat Update.
- ... not introduce new map since Drive Syndicate: From the Ashes in the Winterfest Update.
- ... feature a Class D car that is the starting car of the Drive Syndicate since Drive Syndicate: Racing Through Fire in the Racing Through Fire & Hall of Flames Update.
- ... not include a plot, as the majority of the Drive Syndicate's story was concluded in Drive Syndicate: Fury in the Air in the Festive Fury Update.
- The Gauntlet mode was adapted from Asphalt 9: Legends China, which was originally debuted in the Sailing Update.
- The global version also uses Chinese version screenshots of a Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut racing in various tracks in the loading screens.
- As part of the April Fools, aside from 3D Mode feature, the ex-Community Manager, Codin, made a "return" for the Community Manager position along with the announcement of Koenigsegg CC850's Special Event on Discord.[19] The joke was later confirmed by Muttley.[20]
- The event would eventually take place in the form of "Discord Moderators Special Event", as a tribute for the moderators of the Asphalt Legends Unite Official Discord Server.
