The Lamborghini Egoista is a concept car unveiled by Lamborghini for the company's 50th anniversary. The fully functioning model is based on the Gallardo.
Overview
The Lamborghini Egoista has a unique one-seat cockpit, which is similar to that of a modern fighter jet, and has a canopy door that is completely removable. The steering wheel must be removed to enter and exit the vehicle.
The unique exterior of the Lamborghini Egoista is meant to resemble a bull ready to charge if looked at from the side. The lighting resembles that of a modern airplane, with sidemarkers and indicators on the sides and top of the car as well as front and rear. The bodywork consists of active aerodynamic panels that raise and lower for optimum downforce and stability. The body and wheels are made of antiradar material to even more identify with jet fighters.
In Italian (as well as Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, and Romanian), Egoista literally means "selfish". According to the model's designer Walter de Silva, the Egoista "represents hedonism taken to the extreme."
The car is now on display at the Lamborghini museum located in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The S class car Lamborghini Egoista debuted on Dec. 18, 2015 (iOS), after Santa's Gift Update. It has a starting rank of 1442 (same as the Savage Rivale GTR from Class A), a max rank of 1642 (6 points lower than Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4) and a final rank of 1766, making it now as the most powerful Lamborghini (8 points higher than Aventador).
The vehicle can only be obtained at occasional offer periods by purchasing it for 13,500. The Egoista's MAX PRO rank is 1766. The car costs 2,885,450 to max out.
The Egoista's acceleration, coupled with a big nitro boost, is very fast, although not as fast as the TRION NEMESIS' acceleration, which makes the Egoista a good car to use for Multiplayer. Its top speed isn't very good though. Its handling is also pretty good, albeit not as good other Lamborghini vehicles like the Sesto Elemento.
However, its biggest weakness is its nitro duration. Due to it sharing its nitro boost with the Lamborghini Huracán, it also has a bad nitro efficiency, although not as bad as other Class S cars.
Availability Information
Following its debut in the December 2015 R&D event, the Lamborghini Egoista was most recently available on a limited time offer from the 11th to the 13th of March 2016 in the Garage at the above-mentioned tokens price.
There is currently no information on any future release/availability date for the car.
