The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is a track-only supercar manufactured by Lamborghini under their Squadra Corse racing division.
Overview[]
Text originally from the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12's Wikipedia page.
The Essenza SCV12 features aerodynamics inspired by racing prototypes and was developed for exclusive track use. The car uses the same engine the Aventador SVJ, tuned to the same specifications, but the engine has been turned 180-degrees to allow the gearbox to be mounted at the rear. The engine has a power output of 610 kW (830 PS; 820 hp) achieved by a ram air induction system, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine made by the company. The car has special exhaust tips to reduce backpressure. Unlike the Aventador SVJ, the gearbox is a 6-speed non-synchromesh sequential unit, which also serves as a stressed member of the chassis by supporting the rear pushrod suspension. The car has a rear-wheel-drive layout, as opposed to Lamborghini's current V12 powered offerings. The car is 136 kg (300 lb) lighter than the Aventador SVJ and features a FIA approved carbon composite crash structure and a carbon fibre monocoque which is the first to be homologated without the use of metal.
The car's aggressive design language helps it generate downforce northwards of 1,200 kg (2,600 lb) at 249 km/h (155 mph), equivalent to a conventional GT3 racing car. The front splitter and a large rear wing aids in providing downforce. The hood manages airflow into the roof mounted air snorkel cooling the engine. The car comes with Brembo disk brakes and is fitted with Pirelli racing slicks, having 19-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch magnesium wheels at the rear.
Production of the Essenza SCV12 will be limited to 40 units. The car is not legal for road use and will have its own one-make racing series. The cars will be stored in a special hangar built near the Saint'Agata factory with the owners having the facility to monitor their cars via an app linked to security cameras. Lamborghini would let the customer take delivery of their car upon request, which Maserati allows this of the customers of the MC12 Versione Corse, and unlike Ferrari, which their FXX (and FXX Evo), 599XX (and 599XX Evo), and FXX-K (and FXX-K Evo) can only be kept mostly by the custody of Ferrari master technicians. Lamborghini would be responsible for the maintenance and transportation of the cars to any one of the FIA class 1 tracks around the world, in the case that the owner does not keep the car. Customers would also receive coaching from Lamborghini racing drivers Emanuele Pirro and Marco Mapeli.
Asphalt Legends Unite (formerly Asphalt 9: Legends)[]
The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 was added in the Italian Season Update as a high Class B car with the following rank statistics:
- Stock rank: 2,506 (
)
rank: 2,719
rank: 3,025 (

Performance[]
At stock, it has a very low top speed, average acceleration and mediocre nitro and handling. It is a poor choice to use the SCV12 at stock for multiplayer as a 1 star Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder can beat it on all tracks. At Max, it has good handling, great acceleration rivalling the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, and good nitro at the expense of top speed and physics issues that can impede performance. It is a good performer in multiplayer and events; it can rival the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Porsche Carrera GT.
Availability[]
It was first available from its Grand Prix made in between May 14th–30th, 2021. The car would later became available from various offers and IAPs as of the Raging Bull Season Update.
During Asphalt Legends Unite Expansion Update, it was available in Drive Syndicate 9: Rebels Unite, used as a support car for Trail of the Heir missions where 20 of its blueprints at
250,000, and its
key at
450,000 could be obtained. Additional
blueprints and epic import parts could be obtained in Syndicate Store.
During Mid-Season Update, it was available from its Special Hunt event, where its key could be obtained in Stage 6 once the player maxed-out the car and finishes the race under 38 seconds in the stage. Initially, due to a bug, the
key could be obtained in Stage 6 by finishing the race under 49 seconds without the requirement of maxing-out the car. This would eventually be patched, resulting the event had to be restarted.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 was added in the 2021 Spring Update as a high Class A car with the following stats:
- Starting rank: 1,369
