The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder is a convertible supercar and the convertible spyder variant of the Lamborghini Huracán EVO.
Description[]
The Huracán received a mid-cycle update in 2019, now being called the Huracán Evo. It now shares its engine and some of the technology with the Performante variant.
The updated version of the Huracán has a more aggressive design language, the new front bumper has integrated aeroblades for improved downforce along with the rear styling inspired by the Performante variant, having the same rear diffuser, exhaust pipe position and radiators. A new ducktail spoiler improves downforce by 5 times as compared to the outgoing model.
The engine is shared with the Performante and generates 471 kW (631 hp; 640 PS) at 8,000 rpm and 601 N⋅m (443 lb⋅ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm. The exhaust system is more refined and has titanium intake valves. This allows the car to achieve a 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) acceleration time of 2.9 seconds, 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) acceleration time of 9 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). The car has a braking distance from 100–0 km/h (62–0 mph) of 104 ft (32 m).
The Huracán Evo Spyder was introduced online in February 2019. The Spyder has the same enhancements as the coupé but is 100 kg (220 lb) heavier due to the addition of chassis reinforcement components owing to the loss of the roof. The car has the same canvas folding soft top as the outgoing model which takes 17 seconds for operation and is operable at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). The Spyder can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds from a standstill, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.3 seconds and can attain a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
In 2020, the RWD variant of the Huracán EVO Spyder, as well as the coupe, was released. Unlike the Huracán EVO and Performante, both cars use the 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 from the first generation Huracán (the one that produces 610 horsepower).
Asphalt 9: Legends[]
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder was added in the Motor Show Update as a high-ranked Class B car with the following rank statistics:
- Stock rank: 2,004 ( 45)
- rank: 2,291
- rank: 2,706 ( 17)
- rank: 3,075 ( 23)
- rank: 3,604 ( 32)
- rank: 4,109 ( 45)
A grand total of 12,369,280 is required to fully upgrade the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder from its stock rank: 6,369,280 for all upgrades, 1,600,000 to apply all 32 uncommon import parts, 2,000,000 to apply all 20 rare import parts, and 2,400,000 to apply all 8 epic import parts.
Performance[]
At its stock rank, the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder has a top speed rating of exactly 325, above average acceleration rating (72.1), average handling rating (46.62) and drift radius, and average nitro efficiency rating (51.94). The Huracán's acceleration gives it decent starts and, on straight sections, it can get up to its top speed quite easily. However, its average handling and nitro efficiency ratings means it loses a considerable amount of speed cornering and drifting and driving on rough terrain.
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder's upgrades give the greatest improvements to its nitro efficiency, followed very closely by its handling, then acceleration, with the least improvements to its top speed. With all upgrades and non-Epic import parts applied, the Huracán's ability to retain much of its speed around corners and on rough terrain is greatly enhanced, and it can maintain nitro and shockwave for extremely long periods of time. Its acceleration is also considerably improved, giving it fast starts and corner exit speeds. Despite its top speed having only been marginally improved through upgrades, the Huracán still has a relatively high top speed for an acceleration- and nitro-focused car while also having excellent handling and drifting characteristics.
Usage[]
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder can be seen as a faster counterpart to the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and Aston Martin Vantage GT12, with only minor compromises in handling in exchange for better performance in all other respects. While this theoretically means that the Huracán excels on any track, in practice, it is more dominant on technical tracks, such as The Caribbean, where the Huracán's improved handling allows it to take corners at high speeds without resorting to speed tricks. On top speed-oriented tracks, such as Himalayas and Shanghai, the Huracán can still match Class B cars with a higher top speed, such as the Apollo N, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Porsche Carrera GT, and Lotus Evija, provided the driver has sufficient skill.
In Multiplayer World Series, the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder is unlocked for use once the player reaches Gold League. Because of its high performance and ease of driving, the Huracán sees widespread use alongside the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. Compared to the Corvette GS, the Huracán is less reliant on its handling and nitro to keep up with other cars due to its high acceleration rating. The Huracán still remains useful in Platinum League due to its high acceleration, good handling and excellent nitro efficiency giving it strong starts and considerable resilience to player-to-player collisions regardless of track. It is only up against Legend League cars where the Huracán begins to consistently lose races due to its vastly inferior top speed.
Availability[]
- Main article: Special Event/Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
Blueprints for the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder were initially available only through its Special Event, as well as from a special Motor Show Daily Event that ran concurrently with the Special Event, and limited-time packs that were available only for the duration of the Special Event. Up to 117 Huracán blueprints—enough to unlock the car and star it up to —could be obtained from the Special Event and Motor Show Daily Event combined.
Following the conclusion of its Special Event, blueprints for the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder could only be obtained from limited-time packs featuring it, available at irregular intervals, as well as time-limited events that feature its blueprints as a reward.
With the update to the Garage Level system during the King of the Fall Update, the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder's blueprints could now be obtained from most limited-time packs, including packs that do not feature it. In addition, Huracán blueprints can be purchased from the Legend Store once the player reaches Garage Level 16.
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder's Starway event, which is exclusive to players who either do not have the car unlocked or have it starred up to or less, provides up to 117 Huracán blueprints—enough to unlock the car and star it up to —with the caveat that players must have a variety of other cars unlocked and starred up in order to participate in the event.
Asphalt 8: Airborne[]
The Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder was added in the 2023 Summer Update as a high Class S car with the following statistics:
- Starting rank: 1307
- PRO rank: 1860 (+553)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +55
- Nitro Efficiency: ?/?/?
