||
In the Asphalt channel's What's Next: Roadmap 2025 video on YouTube presented by Muttley on March 5, 2025, the July 2025 update was planned for the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Asphalt series. It was revealed that the Anniversary Event was planned to include "classic" cars of the Asphalt series, while also displaying a gameplay of the DS Survolt in Asphalt 8: Airborne. For the update, revamping the main and event menus was mentioned.
In the updated May Edition of the Roadmap that was published on May 19, 2025, the July 2025 update was rather planned to feature Unite Pass Overhaul (originally planned for the May 2025 Update), Blind Pick Stocks, changes on Import Part availability, Vanity Update I, various Multiplayer changes (with polishing the UI and displaying free-try cars clearly), and a new track for the 20th Anniversary.[2]
On July 17, 2025, the preview of the new track for the 20th Anniversary, San Diego Harbor, was premiered on YouTube and presented by Muttley. On the next day, July 18, the teaser trailer for the Lego Technic Lamborghini Revuelto was uploaded to Youtube. The patch notes for the update were later unveiled on July 19 by official content creators, including Tune, Race, Repeat![3], LokeshG[4], SEFYA[5], GamingWithAwesome[6], Nox Fury[7] and DBT's Vrooms[8]. The article for the patch notes were later published on the game's website on July 21, 2025.

Bugs & Errors[]
Active[]
- Various body kits of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution use the default visual rather than the custom paint.
- The engine cover part on the Volkswagen XL Sport Concept has been moved from its usual position to the car's underside at an unusual angle.
- Players receive incorrect amount of
VIP Points at certain areas of the game.[14] - The Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years Car Hunt pack rewards the Lamborghini Huracán STO's Blueprints instead of the 911 Turbo 50 Years.
- The song "Blackhole" by DJ Gontran (previously exclusive for the Nintendo Switch version) does not have an outro.
- After pressing the "Garage Level" button, the number indicating the garage level (from 1 to 20) cannot be seen due to it being obscured by the white background.
Fixed[]
- "Container Chaos", a variant in the San Diego Harbor track, cannot be selected in Private Races. Attempting to do so will result in a connection error.
- This was fixed a week later with Container Chaos being removed from Private Races. However, the "Connection Error" message is still persisted as of the Heatwave: Afterburn Update.
- Apart from San Diego Harbor, each track has some or all of its 90" variants duplicated in the track selection in Private Races.
- Greenland has 23 variants, while Buenos Aires has a whopping 25 variants.
- For the first time in 7 years, Shanghai has more than 10 variants.
- This issue was fixed weeks later.

Trivia[]
- The unofficial name of this update is "Legacy of Speed, Heatwave: Afterburn & Crimson Equinox Update".
- The Heatwave: Afterburn Update only serves as an extension to this update.
- This update is the first update to run for 3 seasons since the Speed Parade, Haunted Wheels & Black Friday Update.
- The Mid-Season Update only served as an extension of the Speed Parade, Haunted Wheels & Black Friday Update.
- This update is the spiritual successor to the Lamborghini Season Update of Asphalt 9: Legends-era back in 2020.
- Despite this, Asphalt Urban GT was released in 2004 for Nokia N-Gage, Nintendo DS (NA), J2ME and BREW, while Asphalt Urban GT 2 was released in 2005.
- This update features cars returning from previous Asphalt games:
- The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning, Arash Imperium, Pagani Zonda Cinque, Lego Technic Lamborghini Revuelto and the Lego Technic Ferrari FXX K are returning from Asphalt 9: Legends China.
- The Arash Imperium, the Lego Technic Lamborghini Revuelto and the Lego Technic Ferrari FXX K are the only cars to be debuted initially in the Chinese version, with the Imperium was released in the Speed Parade Update, and the Lego Technic Lamborghini Revuelto & the Lego Technic Ferrari FXX K were released in the Sixth Anniversary Update (coincided with the release of both Lego models on August 1, 2025).
- The Pagani Zonda Cinque also made a return from Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and Asphalt 3D.
- The Citroën DS Survolt, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and the Mosler Super GT along with the aforementioned Silver Lightning made a return from Asphalt 8: Airborne.
- The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta also made a return from Asphalt 7: Heat, Asphalt Overdrive, and Asphalt Nitro, with the latter also featuring the Silver Lightning.
- The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning, Arash Imperium, Pagani Zonda Cinque, Lego Technic Lamborghini Revuelto and the Lego Technic Ferrari FXX K are returning from Asphalt 9: Legends China.
- Just like the previous update, Pinnacle of Speed Update, the first season of the update was named as "X of Speed".
- The Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning is not the main car of a Drive Syndicate event, as it was already featured in the Chinese version's Drive Syndicate 10 and also the car was placed in Class A instead of Class S.
- Instead, the Arash Imperium was featured as the main car of the Global version's Drive Syndicate 12.
- The Arash Imperium is the 6th car to not have a real-life functioning model or a full-size static model after the Vision 1789, Inferno Automobili Settimo Cerchio, Lotus E-R9, Pininfarina Teorema and the RAESR Tartarus.
- It is the second Drive Syndicate main event car after the Tartarus, whose existence is mentioned above.
- Just like the Vision, it also has a miniature clay model.
- Prior to being added in the game, Arash Farboud, founder of Arash, made a shoutout to the Asphalt community while showing the clay model of the Imperium in an Instagram reel back in May 30, 2023.[15]
- The Citroën DS Survolt is the 6th car to be added to the game after being featured in 2024 Community Choice Car Poll, where it placed 2nd with 12,000 votes in the First Round's Class D category.[16]
- However, in game, it is now a Class C car.
- The Mosler Super GT features a 2-seater interior with a manual gear shift and two screens, even though none of these exist in the real-life model.
