• The Lightning LS-218 and Kawasaki Ninja H2R are the only motorcycles to have 5 MAX upgrade stages instead of 10.
  • It is also the second Enduro Double Down-obtainable motorcycle.
• The Lightning LS-218 is the first electric motorcycle in the game.
• The Lightning LS-218 is the only vehicle not to have a nitro exhaust.
  • This is likely due to the Lightning LS-218 lacking a diffuser of any kind for nitro to be emitted from in place of the missing exhaust pipe.

• Unlike other EDD boss vehicles, the Lightning LS-218's ghost has the generic blue-and-yellow color instead of gold.
• Its Enduro Double Down event was the last event that featured a new vehicle as subsequent events were reruns before this type of event was discontinued in the 2019 Spring Update.
