Changes: Lotus Evora Sport 410 (Research & Development)

The Lotus Evora Sport 410's Research & Development event was released as the 20th R&D event as part of the Car Blueprints Update in Asphalt 8: Airborne on April 25,2017 after the Sbarro Sparta's Enduro Double Down event.

There are 4 Labs spanning a total of 44 Tests with a time limit of 9 days once the event is started.

The labs will unlock in the following schedule:

Lab 002: 1 day later, or pay 400
Lab 003: 3 days later, or pay 800
Lab 004: 6 days later, or pay ?

Tips / Warnings

WARNING: Like all other legendary Blueprints, the Lotus Evora Sport 410's Blueprints are very difficult to get from most other Pro Boxes. Therefore, any Blueprints obtained during the R&D should NOT be sold, otherwise obtaining the Evora Sport will be very difficult, if not impossible, even after the R&D is completed.

Instead of upgrading to MAX+PRO, use the following tune for the whole R&D (MAX:0500 PRO:5050). This allows for the R&D to be completed but still retain a multiplayer tuning setup for the Lotus Evora Sport 410. On the other hand, though, it is highly recommended to not make a mistake at the final Ultimate AI Challenge, even with a MAX+PRO car.

The time limit for Test .042. can be difficult to keep track of as Infected races do not show the player's race time until the post-race results. The traffic and infected AI racers also increase the chances of a Wreck (especially with Infection Overload) and, if coupled with the Evora Sport 410's high tendency to randomly skid when touching a sidewalk, can make Test .042. very perilous.

Trivia

The Lotus Evora Sport 410's R&D event was originally meant to be based on the Peugeot SR1's event^[1], with the original amounts of Tests and Labs being 45 and 3, respectively. This is due to larger Credits rewards being awarded at Tests .010., .018., .025., .033., and .040.
- The Lotus Evora Sport 410's R&D event is the first R&D event that contains a number of Tests that isn't evenly divisible by 5.
This R&D event is also the first to not actually award the car after completing all tests but blueprints instead.
The quote for Test .033. suggests an Unplugged race, "Personally, I don't believe a driver should rely on Nitro. So win this race without a drop of it, and you'll earn my respect" but a Classic race is used instead, it is only in the following test that a Unplugged race is used. It is unknown if this is intentional or an oversight.
- Logically, Test .034.'s quote should go to Test .033. and vice versa.
