The Lotus Exige S Coupe is a high-end Class C car, with a starting rank of 1105, a maximum rank of 1321, and a final rank of 1457. The Exige S Coupe has several advantages: acceleration, nitro, and handling. Its acceleration is further helped by its nitro, allowing it to knock down a racer right at the beginning of a race or even every single racer. However, it has a lackluster top speed, but is still faster than most other Class C cars. Also, it tends to have bad handling when [[drift]]ing. Overall, it is one of the best Class C cars. However, due to the introduction of the [[Felino cB7]], the Lotus Exige S Coupe is very rarely, if ever, seen in the top 100 leaderboards in Time-Limited Events. |

The Lotus Exige S Coupe is a variant of the Lotus Exige S in the Asphalt series. The Lotus Exige S Coupe's chassis is shared with the Hennessey Venom GT and the Tesla Roadster.
Overview
Asphalt 7: Heat
Here, the Lotus Exige S Coupe is correctly named Lotus Exige S. It is only available by the completion of its own Special Event. The Lotus Exige S has its hardtop up and it is fixed and it has a spoiler for weight reduction, and the same thing in Asphalt 8, it also has its hardtop up and it is fixed and it has a spoiler for weight reduction.
Asphalt 8: Airborne
The Lotus Exige S Coupé is one of two Lotus cars in the game, the other one being the Lotus Evora Enduro GT in Class B. However, the model used in the game is actually just the Lotus Exige S (it was named that in the previous game), not the Coupe form. In fact, the roadster form is nearly missing as the Exige is essentially a coupe version of the Lotus Elise. This is due to Gameloft's penchant for inconsistently mislabeling cars, which is the most severe problem for some British cars (not in the case of the McLaren 12C Spider, which can have its hardtop roof up). The Lotus Exige is the coupe version of the regular Lotus Elise. The differences between the Exige and the Elise are:
- The Lotus Exige is the coupe version of the Lotus Elise while the Lotus Elise is the roadster version of the Lotus Exige. The Lotus Elise is less powerful, slightly heavier and less expensive than the Lotus Exige. The Lotus Exige has a fixed rear wing, front spoilers, side skirts and rear spoilers for the body while the Lotus Elise does not have a fixed rear wing, front spoilers, side skirts and rear spoilers for the body while it has either a soft top or a hardtop.
Also, it tends to have bad handling when drifting. Overall, it is one of the best Class C cars. However, due to the introduction of the Felino cB7, the Lotus Exige S Coupe is very rarely, if ever, seen in the top 100 leaderboards in Time-Limited Events.
The Lotus Exige S Coupe costs 38,500 Credits to purchase and 213,800 Credits to max out, effectively making it a cheap alternative to faster cars like the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and the Lotus Exige S Coupe is a competitor to the Ford Focus RS.

Trivia
- It is now referred to as the Lotus Exige S Coupe in the most recent update for Asphalt 8.
- However, in previous versions in Asphalt 8, it is labeled as a Lotus Exige S Roadster. However, the roadster form is nearly missing as the Exige is essentially a coupe version of the Lotus Elise. This is due to Gameloft's penchant for inconsistently mislabeling cars, which is the most severe problem for some British cars (not in the case of the McLaren 12C Spider, which can have its hardtop roof up).
- Ghosts made in the previous versions of Asphalt 8 still use the Exige S Roadster name in spite of the fact that it is now renamed to the Lotus Exige S Coupe.
- With this modification, the Lotus Exige S Roadster is one of the 2 original cars in Asphalt 8 that got a modification(the first being the Marussia B2, losing its badge and the Lotus Exige S is the coupe version of the Lotus Elise).
- While in its silver paint color, the Lotus Exige S Coupe has a number 3 painted on the hood and sides, similar to how the Chevrolet Camaro GS (also in Class C) has a racing number. However, this resulted in this car not receiving any decals. In real-life all the Lotus Exige S Coupes were in its white paint color, it has a number 3 painted on the hood and sides and the racing number is only available for white and the white color for this car is unselectable.
- Curiously, the Lotus Exige S Coupe requires i4 Engine cards despite using a V6 engine. One of the four cars whose real life and in-game engines does not match, with the Audi RS 4 Avant and the SRT 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8(both requiring V6 cards/powered by a V8 engine) and the Volkswagen W12(requiring W16 cards/powered by a W12 engine).
- Hennessey Venom GT, while based upon this car, has better handling than this car in spite of identical handling stats.
- Tesla Roadster, while based upon this car, has worse handling than this car in spite of the Tesla Roadster becoming slow and weak.
The first non-electric car that disables decals.- In the Tenerife update, however, the decals are added to the Lotus Exige S Coupe.
- The Lotus Exige S Coupe's competitors are the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 2013, McLaren 12C Spider and the Audi R8 GT. Therefore, the Lotus Exige S Coupe is considered as a sports car.
